Red Velvet
Here is a different style of art that I really love to do. It's more bouncier in style and I remember really like Jessica Rabbit from Roger Rabbit the movie when I was a kid. I thought I'd post it here rather then on my page. I enjoy this style mainly because when I'm illustrating comic book work, I find it more interesting giving my characters alot of personality by using body language which amplifies an image and the reaction to the viewer. This illustration took approximately 1 hour to draw in pencil and about 2.5 hours to color it. After penciling the line art, I usually scan it at 400dpi and color via Adobe Photoshop. Sometimes I will use Adobe Painter to give it texture but not for this one. I thought this would be neat as a good Company Christmas Card. I've had alot of people ask me to make this as a poster @_@. Anyways, enjoy!

doubt: halloween costume! =P
i like the boots, too, but wouldn't that mean the skulls are normally upside down when she's walkin' (all over you)
i like the color on this. when you mean texture through painter... does that mean you'd be able to make her boots seem leather pebbly or patent leather-y smooth? no texture on her bum tho, right =P

It's true, his work is very inspirational, I say GIVE IN! Give your creativity an outlet again, with pencil and paper.<--I think I'm writing out loud to myself, hehe
