i've boycotted that girl a long time ago. i'm sick of her period time outfits/image/character...they're all the same.

zz is way over-exposed in these chinese historical dramas. well, here's hoping for somebody new:

a casting team has visited Beijing and Shanghai to search for the right actress to play the female leading role, a young college student recruited as a secret agent. Reportedly, Ang Lee prefers casting someone with a fresh face and only a handful of relatively well known actresses have been contacted. Another report suggests this role will belong to someone from Taiwan. As for the male leading role, a high ranking puppet government official and the target of an assassination plot, mainland Chinese actor Ge You is currently in talk for the role. ge you is the emperor in the Banquet.

Is she in every one of these olddie movies? It seems like it.

Barbie is older but not by much, she will be 30 this year. She did a peroid piece with Daniel Chan before and she was in one of the Journey to the West series too.

Its not that I don't like her I just don't like her as much since she started to date Vic. She controls him. She wanted his ass since MG1 but she had a bf already, then out of nowhere they brake up and she starts dating Vic. The thing is she said that she loved her bf a lot and that she was very happy with him and then like a week after they brake up. Then you see her and Vic together quite offen and on her show, then "BAM" their dating. *shrug*

the news: maybe tony leung chiu-wai will be cast in the lead role of the high-ranking official...

Shanghai newspaper News Times says Taiwanese pop singer Wang Lee-Hom has been cast as male lead No. 2, the boyfriend of the young agent.

Ang Lee has left Shanghai without confirming any casting rumor. He will return to Shanghai to continue his work on the preproduction. Ang Lee has decided to shoot a majority of the film at Shanghai Film Studios' production facility at Chedun. New sets will be built in addition to the existing sets to recreate the old Shanghai.
