interesting.. i hope that DW will play a drug addict well... then again... he is a bit on the thin side with bluish lips already, or at least in the pictures.. *laff* maybe he's researching that role in real life too? what do you think?

and i heard it's coming to the States also..that's one reason why andy lau didn't mind doing the movie because supposedly the movie is mainly about our lovely Daniel Wu. Louis would serve as a drug addict..he looks like a druggie with that skinny bony bod of his and his really bad tan...and in reality, he's always sick...

what? this movie is for our danny boy to showcase his abilities to the states? wow.... that's a LOT of pressure.

from one of his interview a long long time ago, the reporter asked him if he'll ever want to take a shot in hollywood and he said yes, only if his role is not some kind of asian mafia leader or a kungfu fighter..well, we all know hollywood only hires asian for those roles..i think it's one of those movies like gen x cops where the movie is still a hk production, but they bring it over to the states to release it at those blockbuster movie rental and not at the theaters.

when it comes over to show in states, it'll prolly be treated like kf hustle, infernal affairs...play in smaller theaters. that's how most hk movies are screened. hero and flying daggers got wider release. promise got into some century theaters, i think. that was a mistake.

is this the hong kong version of traffic? it sounds like it's gonna be a great film. i realy like the idea behind it. traffic rocked so if they do as good a job on this one then it should be a hit.

Stphen Fung's gonna direct Andy Lau in a USD5m project. A remake of one to the olden days movie....can't remember the title.

i read someplace long ago that dw was going to be shooting something w/ andy, in something else in addition to protege. maybe this one's the project bc sf is directing and he often gets dw in his project.

Dans first Major Debut in the States, not including Jacky Chans 80 days around the world movie.

I heard he always wanted to break into Hollywood but not as sterotyping chinese stuff, but more like we can do what americans do too. Go Daniel!!!!

totally agree with you bout the promise...everything is bad in there...i don't even know why it got into the state...bad cg, bad story, bad actor...bad everything...it's like a movie to entertain 3 years old children....suks....totally..ultimately...suks....

leonardo is over rated...i think he just fits in role as a psycho path or some sort...like the movie what's eating gilbert grape...and aviator...he totally look like schizophrenic type of person....infernal affairs is best in its original version...my favorite is the first episode...tony leong...ah....great actor....not really favor second episode... :S
