NEW! What's making you HAPPY today?

The heck with "Undefined action", we'll just start a new thread.  Just don't report a post unless it's really HORRIBLE.

I'm happy today because my friend and I saw a lot of beautiful fall trees going to Toledo this morning.  I took this pic while she went in the Fresh Food Store to buy her favorite jaw breakers.

So autumnish looking.   My pics are much nicer resized.

So...let's just ignore the problem and let it die.  Fine.  Whatever.  I'm thrilled.

Really.

Maybe I'll start a new complaint thread about how when one clicks on the main menu to go to somebody's blog, they see instead a blog that is weeks old.  What the heck has happened to the quality of the programming on this website?

Okay...here's what made me happy today:  The weather was freakin' awesome!

Do I detect a note of sarcasm there?    When I went into my settings 4 times and tried every "Posts per page" option there and still could not get past the "Undefined action" message, I figured if we didn't try something different, people would stop clicking on the "Happy" thread at all.

I had the problem you mentioned about blogs, but with the main forum, 3 days ago.  When I first got online and chose the AnD board from my faves, it gave me an old page with topics from months ago.  I was like, WTF?

I am preparing a roast beef in the oven.  It smells heavenly.  I have not done that for -- no lie -- years.  I have been eating almost exclusively fish and chicken for so long now but I just have a craving for some blood.  It must be because I had a great rare cheeseburger on Friday at a local pub with a delicious pitcher of Oktoberfest.  MMMMmmmm.  Or it could be the approach of Halloween and a rare roast beef will satisfy my natural lust to SUCK YOUR BLOOD.  Bwwwaaahahahahaha.

I'm happy that Tashi is doing so well. He loves his kitten formula, and is starting to get the hang of toys.

Etchy suggested in my complaint thread that it might just be easier to start a new thread.  Again, the programing quality is going down the drain which I don't understand because AnD definately doesn't seem to be enjoying the user traffic it once did.

The old pages from weeks/months ago totally suck.

Oh, yes....something "happy."  Okay.  Harvested 19 zuchs today!  Whoopee.

I just watched Jim Carrey in The Grinch this afternoon, so I thought you had cooked a roast beast.
Was it good?

JRS, do I smell zucchini bread?

I scrolled past this image  really fast and it looked nothing like a roast beef! >_<

That is exactly what it looked like and it tasted great -- juicy and tender.  I like to brown it on high and then roast it slowly.  I have satisfied my roast beast craving for a long time to come.  We have enough left over for a couple of hot roast beef sandwiches and that is all.  Yummy.  I loves my veggies but I like a little animal protein.

I'm the same way.  I only need a smidgen of meat as long as I've got plenty of vegetables.  And I also like either applesauce, cole slaw, candied yams, cranberry sauce, or sweet cornmeal muffins with the majority of my meat & veggie meals.  Old habits are hard to break.

I was chatting with my granddaughter on the phone last week and she said that her mom and dad were getting dinner ready, so I asked what they were having.  Without missing a beat she said pasta, with sun dried tomatoes, black olives, capers, garlic, basil, wine, olive oil, mozzarella cheese... I don't remember the rest, but I remember thinking that until about a year ago I had never heard of capers, and I've never tasted a sun dried tomato, or bought a fresh clove of garlic.  I don't even know what basil looks like.  And I'm somewhat over 4 years old.

It is good the kids are becoming more adventurous eaters.  There are so many things out there to try...so many cuisines.  That pasta sounds de-lish.

Nobody gave me a zucchini this year.

IF I had a bundt pan, I'd make a sour cream cake with a bit of apricot jam in the center today.  IF I had some sour cream.

I cut the recipe out of the Sunday paper and was going to make one in my fruitcake pan, but after buying nearly everything in the store, I forgot the sour cream.  So this morning I had apricot jam on toast for brekkie.

(I swear, I found that emoticon AFTER typing that last sentence. )

2nd class of Advance Taichi for the new "season."  I taught everybody some new silk reeling exercises...nervous because I wasn't really prepared, but I made it through!

I guess it is OK to mention it in this thread....    My son is here to help me `winterize` the joint and he just went out to pick up some Chinese food.  DUMPLINGS FOR DINNER.  Yea!  I like the `meat of unknow origins` dumplings myself.  Jet probably likes the veggie ones.  Hey Jet.  If you`re reading this why don`t you just stop on by for some jiaozi?!?  MMMMmmmmGOOD!  Hell...if you`re gonna stop by I`ll even learn to make them...from scratch!
