halloweens coming. ? yeh yeh!
hi everyone one the forum . since halloween is just around the corner. i wanted to talk about it. if you don't mind. im getting my halloween thing out of my cuboard to see which decorations i have . and what i want to put up. iam definetly having a party. this year cool. i love halloween. and i love the count down to halloween . thats when i especially watch scary or halloween films the whole of october. what is everyone else doing this year? if you don't mind me asking. im not sure what im dressing up as yet. does anyone know yet what their going as. aslso since we like to talk about jet or jackie subjects. here is a question for everyone on the forum to answer if they want to. if you decieded on halloween to go as a jet li or jackie chan charecter from on of their films which one would it be?. even though im a girl. i would say from jets film i would his charecter from kiss of the dragon. the other charecters are good but that one stands out for me . and as far as jackies charecter his charecter from rumble in the bronx. bye for now and i hope everyone has a brilliant halloween. p.s. watch out for ghostly goings on.

This is the first Halloween that I won't be buying treats, or turning on my porch light. Last year I had not one trick-or-treater for the first time ever. There's a big party put on by the village where people can take their kids, another at the FOE, and some have parties in their homes. Then people don't have to worry about their kids safety (most parents walk with them anyway), or the weather. It's pretty nasty here sometimes by the end of October... rainy and cold.
But I'll still be decorating as usual, inside and out, because I enjoy it myself. Here's a pic I took just for this thread of a candy corn sucker my friend bought me when we were shopping last week. I hate to eat suckers, but think they're cute. This one is marshmallow flavored, even though it's hard as a rock.
Wonder why they couldn't make it candy corn flavored?

I like Halloween too but I do not think I could pull off either Jet or Jackie. This is the one iconic character I love from Chinese film. The Landlady from Kung Fu Hustle (Yuen Qiu). She is so cool plus I would be really comfortable in bedroom slippers and I could get to smoke again (since it is in character)!

No halloween here , but true that there's events for childs , less for adults , because it's came in my country recently , so it's not a tradition here.

I forgot about the charcter thing.
I would like to be Wong Fei Hung in The Last Hero in China (a fave of mine), so I could be a rooster.

Seeker, I've got a big electric moon like that that I put in the front window every year. It looks yellow in the daytime, but at night it's as orange as a pumpkin. (OK, I got it out and took a pic of it in my computer chair.)
Dammit! I resized that pic twice, and it's still too big. Maybe it will get smaller when I post it.
Here's how Mannie reacted when I put this Halloween rug down in front of the TV stand:
McD's sold these little Chicken McNuggets for a buck or so about 12 or 15 years ago. Two of mine are duplicates.
Aaaargh! This website cut off my fave Count Dracula! I'll have to take another pic.
Now I can see that I've got the wrong McNugget in that Frankenstein costume.

The witch must look really cool at night. Lol Mannie's reaction to the rug was funny--he was like' what is this new thing in my domain'.
Sorry to hear you had so much trouble dressing your McNuggets.

I think that first batch of apples looks yummy! But when I was young,I liked the old-fashioned candy apples in the second pic. I always gotone at a fair or carnival.
I tried to hang this silly Halloween owl (I originally thought it was abat) in the archway last week, but my cat wouldn't take his eyes off ofit, so I took it down. Today I dangled it from the etagere, but hespotted it and was in his scary stare mode again. So Ithink I'll justpitch it - I don't wanna have to pay for a cat therapist.
Here's the offending creature:

If I looked over and saw that thing, I'd think the Grim Reaper had come for me!
(But yeah, it is cute in a ghouly way!)
