Ok maybe not mine ... but despite how I feel about birthdays I have always admired your thoughtfulness in remembering those JLMB posters who enjoy celebrating their birthdays.  You always remembered people on their birthdays and gave others an opportunity to chime in with their well-wishes.  I will venture a guess by saying that for some people that may have been the only acknowledgement they received on their special day.  It is a tradition that will be missed by many I am sure.  I rarely notice the `So and so is having a birthdy` on the home page here on AnD (which page I would also guess a lot of JLMBrs never even visit).  So thanks Star for your thoughtfulness and your dedication....which took much more time and effort than a computer program automatically disgorging a list of birthdays.  By the way...for the record...my birthday is on FLAGDAY!  

But I get an email a few days ahead of time alerting me that it's someone's birthday, don't you?  That's one of the reasons I decided to stop the threads... that, and I notice a lot of members send birthday wishes via their blogs.

No I don`t get notified.  I guess I must have opted out of the opportunity to be notified everytime it is someone`s birthday option.  Surprised?

I have no recollection of choosing such an option, but I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning.  lol   I just thought the emails were automatic for everyone.

Yeah....I'm still wincing from the birthday thread I did for you back in 2008!  

I don't get notified either, and I rarely look at my homepage anymore, just head straight for the forum, so I probably miss the birthday notifications there too.
