How to add some to be your friend?

Can someone add a artist to be his/her 's friend?
I would like to know how.

No, cos then everyone would try adding an artist as a friend. It was available back in the early days, but it must have become a bit of a nuisance cos they removed it.

Artists can friend request fans, though, I think. If you really know them, you can ask them to request you. Otherwise, you can become a fan, you;ll still be up to date on all their blogs.
