During the past month or so I received PM mails really late, like 5 or 6 days after the PM was received, or I even received emails saying I had a PM, when I actually didint...

But the weirdest thing happened this morning..I received 20+emails saying one of my friends had a bday near...I know I am bad with dates..but isnt that a bit too much? =p

It's because guys have bad memories. And it is illegal for guys to forget birthdays.

I literally laughed out loud for that (normally, when I say LOL, I didn't really laugh out loud).

Hey Raoul, we had a problem with the script running birthdays two days ago which caused the problem. There's a temporary fix now, but a more permanent fix is forthcoming. Let me know if you see the problem appear again.

Uhmm..again I received Terence's bday email many times...I mean, yeah, his birthday may be important, but this is ridiculous =p

Hey Raul and to everyone ... sorry about the unfortunate blast of birthday emails a couple of days ago. It was a strange chain effect of several bugs at once that caused it -- too many email invitations sent out for Terence's birthday party today + the script that regularly runs other automated scripts never updated because it was trying to send out so many emails from the invitations.

In any case, the problem hopefully should be fixed now and never happen again, but let me know if you see anythign strange with the emails again.
