I know what would be a good feature!

Everyone's problem with uploading photos recently because of a new feature you guys are testing out gave me the idea (though, not original) that you should have like a little section on the homepage where you announce any problems arising - not all of them, just the ones that are temporarily disabling a function or you're in test mode for something. Just any possible hiccups you might be experiencing with the more frequently used features on this site, like photo uploading.

That way you don't get five or six threads in here asking what the problem is with a feature that used to work fine. And poor sods like me, who might not have been using the feature recently, but used it successfully in the past doesn't look stupid for answering that there shouldn't be a problem when there actually is. Okay, I guess I could have tried doing some photo uploading before telling them that I've never had a problem, but I dun wanna!

Hmm, that's a pretty good idea, but our homepage space is fairly limited.

I think I'll try to update the forums (most likely this one) a bit more often on changes in the system...
