What's making me happy is that I just saw one of the most exciting ending of a golf tourney ever!

Who won?  Who else but Tiger with a birdie... his longest putt of the day on 18 to win by one.

Beautiful weather today!  Got to ride my motorcycle to work!!  Spent time with old friends on the patio at a mexican restaurant this evening.  I got some new art supplies today.

My mom (who is 74, nearly 75) and I made a trip to Pittsburgh today, to Trader joes and a food Co-op. Beautiful weather, great experience, good lunch. My fortune cookie said, "It takes more than a good memory to make good memories." And that's so true. When my mom and dad are no longer with me, I will not be one of those, who says "I wish I would have. . . " I'm spending the time now, when I have them, enjoying their company, enjoying who they are, now. And I love it. I like the fact that I will not be filled with regret, the 'wish I would've.' I like watching my mom, who doesn't get to go big places, really enjoy her time. We were just grocery shopping. amd then we had lunch. $10 at a chinese place. And it rocked.
I am going to be so gutted when they're gone. Big time.

This makes me very happy!  Just got it today.

JRS - It's great having my very own parking lot! and it was a steal!  Gonna have to find out who left that silly bike on my lot.

I badly burned the roof of my mouth  bad so I can't eat solid food. I've been on a diet of Ice Cream and Apple sauce all day. So good.

I'm not that stupid.

Today I got a huge chunk of a splinter in my finger & it took me an hour to get it out cuz I'm a wuss! When it finally came out bright red blood that I hate splurted out till I wrapped it in ice. The good of this story that's making me happy is it stopped bleeding & I don't have to get stiches Yaaaay! I hate stictches worse than I hate splurty blood. The End. : )

I'm happy because I learned that us people that have our income tax refund direct deposited will be the first to get our tax rebate checks.  But they're starting with social security #s ending in 00-25, so mine won't be until the third batch on May 16th.  I guess I can wait.  

That makes me happy too because I'll be in the May 9 group!

I'm waiting for my regular refund to come into my bank, but their website has been down for 2 days, so I just get:

"We are working to resolve the issue and restore service as quickly as possible.
Please try again later."

It's no big deal, I just like to see it on paper.  And I didn't file until April 13th.

I'm happy cuz it took under 5 minutes to replace a filling in a back molar. I think the dentist has given up on my whining ways & just threw a blob of putty in there.

BUT he has a crabby attitude.
