Pat Lee - Extreme studios
Hey Pat!
I used to be a huge fan of comics back in the 90's then moved on in about '96, now I'm just getting back into it, wow I have to say your style has really changed! I remember back in the day when I was a kid following your career at extreme when you worked on Bloodpool, I googled your name and found you here so I joined up just to read to read your blog (although I myself am an Englishman, not asian). I like the direction your work is taking
. I wondered if you would write a blog about those old days, and what it was like to first break in to the industry and move to california to work at extreme? Cheers Pat!

Hey there WarChild - heh glad you make it to Alive Not Dead. Thanks for collecting my work since the Blood Pool days, it's been such a long time since I worked on that series but I do remembr clearly as to when I was working on it at Extreme. Breaking into the industry wasn't an easy task, but thanks to Dan Fraga, he really helped me break into the industry and get my first job at Extreme. Super nice guy. Any questions you have just let me know and I can answer them here!
PeacE!

Hey Pat, used to collect comics and in particular loved Image Comics... of course, my most fave artist was Todd McFarlane doing Spawn... and I had a chance to meet Jim Lee once... he came to Singapore back in the 1990s, courtesy of a comic store I used to hang out at a lot called Comic Attic, which was located in Tanglin Mall in Singapore back then... the shop is still there, but now it's "diversified" and is selling toys and some other stuff... Jim autographed some stuff for me... great to find you here, would love it if you could add me here... or if you have Facebook, I'm there too :-)
