Donnie + sex, doesn't that sound violent???

I see they have the arrow scene like in Hero. Kinda ehh...and so unreal unlike Gladiator which did a better job. So much stuff is animated now.


Kelly doesn't strike me to be the type that'll be angry and fight violently. Nope, doesn't work for me too well. But...she does it pretty well. Interesting.....

With stunt choreography and doubles, it would be easy to make the meekest person come off as fierce and strong. So.... But Kelly Chen's facial expressions when she's swinging that toy sword looks real and fierce, doesn't it?

You're thinking Seven Swords Donnie making hot love to the Korean girl. haha. That was almost scary the way she was being orgasmic. haha.

Okay...now I gotta watch 7 Swords for that part, and then watch this one...multiple orgasms? Trying to make him look that good in bed eh?? lol (so behind in my movies)

There's a scene where I see Kelly and her pretty face not being fiece while swinging the sword....didn't buy it. I liked the arrow scene somewhere at the end with Kelly. That seemed good and I bought that.

ha!  i saw the trailer to this flick when i was watching "the warlords".
i almost thought this was a sequel to 'seven swords' or 'the myth: redux'.

i had a hard time to accept kelly chen in her role when she says she must take revenge (in the trailer).  i was hurling in my seat.

It's true. This film and a bunch of others still to come out are like so many recent films - 7 Swords, Battle of Wits, Warlords, Myth. Carnage and armor. This film definitely doesn't have the Zhang Yimou touch or even strive for that aura or way of storytelling. I wonder if and when I see the next batch of costumed drama if I'll be able to differentiate them well enough to remember what is what.

I've had this vcd for over a month. Hubby tells me it sucks so I'm taking my time to watch this guy.

Unimpressive.
The reluctant empress thinks she can just quit her reign and run off to be with her lover in the woods. DY really doesn't have much to do except for 2 scenes. And I feel nothing with Lai Ming (sp). He has no expression.
