To turn notification off

I have already turned my notification off under settings,  why am I still gettig recent notifications about who my freinds are friends with?  I really don't care and is not my business.  Is there something I can do? Thanks.

Samples:

tinlunlau and LISA.L are friends of Jeanne

sirendipity, LISA.L, RenRen, and 2 more are fans of Vodka Cruiser

musicnote is a fan of Vodka Cruiser, MC G, and Allan Wu
