
I think Daniel made a comment once that Stephen was his first onscreen kiss partner.

And they are good friends -- they've done a couple of interviews saying so. And watching them interact with each other is pretty fun, check out the credits of Enter the Phoenix.

Good stuff. I can't recall if there's aany funny stuff in the House of Fury DVD, I don't have it with me.
I actually liked Bishonen.
While it's not a stellar brilliant movie (and certainly isn't one for commercial audiences), I thought it was a good start to Daniel Wu's career. Pretty risky and still not too shabby as a start because the performance he gave did well for the film. Everyone did fine in that film, actually. Yon Fan is just a really difficult director to watch (for me at least) because oftentimes his films ultimately come off as a bit cold. Just a bit.
I mean it's hot watching, for sure. And definitely Yon Fan has a good eye, and a good understanding of human vulnerability. But I always feel after the films that I don't worry about the characters any longer.
It's the same with Peony Pavilion.
