OK, Zombieland was fantastic!   Gross, disgusting, and hilarious.

I just saw Bright Star today, and I liked it, though it would be slow for some peeps.  I hope Sisto sees it wherever she is... she'd love the fragile chap that played John Keats.

"The tragic but intensely passionate love affair between Romantic poet John Keats (Ben Whishaw) and the radiant Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish) is detailed in this romantic period drama from critically acclaimed writer/director Jane Campion."

That's it for this week.

hah, i saw zombieland today too.  we laughed pretty much nonstop throughout the movie.  i wish we had seen it at night instead of afternoon, we were practically the only people in the theater and it seems the kind of movie that is just much more fun with a full crowd.

I enjoyed Zombieland too plus it was educational.  I loved the superimposed Rules of Zombieland Survival.  Shawn of the Dead was funny but so was this one--like 28 days later after Shawn.  Good one.

I watched Paranormal Activity a few days ago, and I had no problems going to sleep that night. What a shitload of fuck.

True that can be fun, but when you have a theater full of laughing people, you often miss some of the funny  onscreen dialogue.

My son and I saw it last Tuesday night at 8, and there were only about 10 other people there, which was fine with us, cuz we laughed our butts off.  However, mine grew back!

Woody's nerdy co-star ended up doing a great job, huh Flag... "double tap".

I've been catching up on my dvd " homework."

I saw Rachel Getting Married last night.  Really makes you appreate your own family!

And before I watched that I saw Burn After Reading.....that movie was NOT what I expected.  Just kinda left me going...."Huh."

I definately recommend this movie, though...The Namesake with Kal Penn.  Kinda slow and artsy in places but it help set the mood.  Very good story....

I love that dog pic.

We saw UP a couple of weeks ago which was as lovely as everyone said, if anyone hasn't seen it yet I would recomend it, not just for kids. I took Eva to see Cirque Du Freak yesterday, I haven't read the books this is based on so I don't know if it's a good adaptation or not but I thought it was a good enough kids film, although the audience seemed to be mostly teenage girls needing a vampire fix before New Moon comes out, some of them became practically hysterical when the New Moon trailer came on. Eva went from thinking that Cirque Du Freak was too scary to thinking it was too boring, so I wouldn't recomend it for younger children, maybe 8 and upwards, it's rated 12a though so it depends how easily scared the kids are.

Wouldn't say I loved it, but liked it quite a bit

I though Adam Scott was hilarious in this, like he is in most of his roles recently.

Zombieland
I also laughed through the entire film.  the Cardio scene made me lose my shizz. I still liked Shaun of the Dead a little more but I am thoroughly enjoying this apparent Zombie renaissance we are in.

Last night (Halloween) I finally watched Twilight.  Yeah...only 11 months behind all the rest of the OCD's (Obsessive Cullen Disorderers).  It was better than I expected it to be.  Surprise!

Now I'll be ready for New Moon.

I downloaded the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 rifftrack to go with it and it was hilarious, I would definitely reccommend watching it again with the rifftrack playing at the same time.

I watched "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" last night.  I'm sure some X-menophiles had some issues with the other characters and relationships to Wolverine, but I liked it. Definitely kept my interest. And I can't stand Hugh with the Wolfie facial hair, so it wasn't just the hotness factor that kept me watching.

I watched the remakes of My bloody Valentine and Friday The 13 this past weekend both were ok.
