Jet Li's style of Wushu
I am amazed at the beauty of his fluid movements. They are deadly but graceful. They flow from his limbs
like the ribbons from the Ribbon Dance.
I have watched Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, and other martial arts, but I have never seen anything like Wu
Shu the way Jet Li does it.
I remember reading an essay of his about his observations of different styles and how people used to
develop their own way of bringing their character into the art. I call it art because it is not just a fighting
technique it is a part of yourself as well. You have to put your soul into it.
I myself have no training, but someday I will. I am unemployed at the moment and that takes away from
a lot of what we would wish to do.
I admire Jet Li as an actor and a Wushu champion. I hope to be able to find someone that is an authentic
Wushu master not just someone making money from martial arts.

Hi Jenelda, and welcome to the message board.
It's never too late to start training.
I totally agree with your opinions of JET and his wushu. Poetry in motion.

I absolutely agree with everything you say Jenelda - beautifully expressed. I have also been recently unemployed and you have my sympathy - poverty does put a dampener on realising some of your goals. Good luck in obtaining some income so you can get stuck into some of them.
