This is pissing me off! I just typed a long reply, hit post, and wentinto the kitchen to do the dishes. Now I return here a half hour later,and my screen is on the log in page. If I wasn't logged in, how couldI have gotten into the reply box to type my post?
So here goes again..........
Last night and again this morning I was on the phone with Dish Network trouble-shooting techs, and both times they walked me through a bunch of stuff, but I still couldn't get google, so they passed me to the next dept. This is where they try to sign you up for their paid tech support on a monthly basis, and I always say, "No thank you." I've never asked "how much?", but assumed it was maybe $5. HA! $12.99 a month for the first SIX months, which means that after that, they'll up the ante. She said, "It will only run you about $78 with tax for 6 months." I said, "Hell no!" She said "It will give us access to your computer and we can get inside from where we're at and fix the problem." I don't need them in my computer. I'll call my nephew later today, after he's recuperated from the partying that went on down at Ohio State last night, even though they lost.
And if it's too involved, he can come over and fix it when he comes home for his brother's birthday on the 25th of Sept.
I can only use Firefox (but that's OK cuz I like it now)... my IE has been messed up for a looong time. Now it only gives me error messages, or blank white pages.
