I do find that many cinematic or TV productions about UFO and outer space. are
just made too unreal and absurd, that create a kind of public thinking - UFO is nothing but a entertaining subject, or sometimes like a big joke - that greatly subtracts  the seriousness of this research and fantasy.

The best movie I've ever seen about the search for alien life was called "Contact" based on a book written by Carl Sagan, but I don't think there were any UFOs in the movie.

Yes, many things seemed ridiculous at first, such like Newton's discovery and
other fantasies of new  inventions, but later turned into reality: light, telegram,
telephone, trains, steamships....computers, 3G   iphones.  Those never dream,
won't understand the importance of fantasy. Human history is a history of
constant discoveries......

Though as a very old topic for several decades, still it would be great to renew all the information and ideas upon such a mystrious subject, if there are any. It regards something about our feeling and future relationship toward the outer space and the meaning of the universe itself.

what we've imagined about outer space intelligence may be too much confined to our limited understanding of possible living forms. they  could be in forms that we'd never ever think of, who knows?

too true. they could look like something right out of our comprehension or scope of reference. I have had hypnagogic hallucinations (kind of a type of waking dream) that have featured colours and shapes and textures that are so bizarre that i can't describe them. there are more things on heaven and aerth (and outer space) than are dreamt of in our philosophy.

No matter how they look like, how they live and move like, still i hope and believe there are intelligent beings in the outer space. Such belief and comprehension helps make sure that we're not alone and there are still something fascinating to expect especially when the earth itself is not running in a most satisfactory way mostly becuase of human's tremendous damages to the nature environment.......

many people around the world have seen spaceships. in fact, i even know all about some one who saw one. they say it look like a bird. about the size of a large owl. with its wings spread open. not flying,
just floating there near them. it had a white glow to it. then it warped away at the speed of light.
this happened in california many years ago. in simi valley. many people saw it and the news paper most certainly have the event on microfilm. religious people believe in god. these things people are seeing i think are real. but.. are they good? is the bigfoot good? i dont think so. i think movies and books make us too easy about these things. also ghosts. are they good? i dont think so. if you read books watch movies then you know it is big money. but.. they are really for real out there. ghosts and space ships. but.. i dont think they are good. i think they hate us and they want to get us. fortunately they seem not that interested
except to only scare the crap out of us then leave. so far thats all. but.. i really think they are real and just feel this way. i have my religion but will keep that to myself. there is really big money in space ships and ghosts. so they must be real.

personally, I never believe such things if I don't see by my eyes. I live w/ skepticism. haha . but I just don't believe it if it's by other people's eyes.

Some events may be really come out.But we need to know conseqence: the natural law of universe,we shouldn't think yes or no/ True or False at once.Everything is not follow the conservative law. This is my opinion and wisdom.

Yes I think you are right koyelinn111, time always moves forward, it doesn't follow the conservation law.   We need to have a pretty good idea about what the consequences may be from a choice of yes or no, but I don't think any of us are ever 100% sure, so at least we should try and know what to do to counteract a wrong choice.  I suppose that's what it means to always live in the present moment knowing that there will always be one more moment after that.  Time has a beginning point, by definition,  there is no "before" time, because time only exists after it's beginning point and then moves in one direction only.  Energy on the other hand seems to be able to oscilliate back and forth, but the energy that is used to cause the oscilliation movement, maybe that is lost by being sent in a backwards direction through time?  Hey luckily we are always moving into the future, as are any aliens out there as well, because if they're not then they can't be from this universe, they must be from a different one that doesn't follow our natural laws.  So maybe the energy isn't being lost after all, maybe it's going to the aliens that live in a different Universe than ours.  Cool!  I wonder if that's what they are using to power their spaceships......I think my first question to an alien would have to be  "What time have you got?", and then I would have to ask "Where are you?", also  "How do you power your spacecraft?" and so on.....I suppose then they would want to know the same from me, and taking the speed of light into account, it might take years!!!!  Still at least I do know that there is no way in this Universe that an alien could answer my question before I've actually asked it!  Wait a minute, unless they're one of those pesky mind reading aliens, in which case at least I know that they won't be able to answer my question before I've actually thought of it!.....because if they think they can then they're definitely from another planet.

It's really interesting and inspiring that the topic of UFO could bring out  so many constructive insights and profound thinkings. Great thinking with depth always deserves appreciations more than a bravo as each human invention was all based on such unprofitable conceptualization in the first place.
