Total Solar Eclipse over China and Siberia - 1 August 2008

Today on 1 Agust 2008 will be a Total Solar Eclipse visible in North America (Canada), Asia (China, Siberia). In Europe (Poland) will be a not full Solar Eclipse.
We can see Solar Eclipse at Earth when Moon is strictly between Earth and Sun. It's very rare phenomenon of nature. Next eclipse (annular) will be on 26 January 2009.

You can not watching at Sun
even if it's Solar Eclipse beacause you will be blind !!!
For safety observations of Sun you must
using a special very dark astronomical filtres !!!

Earth and Moon from 50 million kilometres away

Deep Impact spacecraft taken pics and video of the Moon transiting (passing in front of) Earth from 50 million kilometres away (1/3 distance to the Sun). Earth looks like as an Alien World. These photographs and video will help scientist to improve analysis methods of planets from out of Solar System.
