Virginia man loses nearly 80 pounds in 6 months by eating at McDonald's every day
QUINTON, Va.) A Virginia man lost about 80 pounds in six months by eating nearly every meal at McDonald's. Not Big Macs, french fries and chocolate shakes. Mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce.
Chris Coleson
tipped the scales at 278 pounds in December. The 5-foot-8 Coleson now
weighs 199 pounds and his waist size has dropped from 50 to 36.
The 42-year-old businessman from Quinton says he chose McDonald's because it's convenient.
His inspiration came from his two children and from the story of a blind war veteran who rode a tandem bicycle cross-country.
Coleson
says his goal is to get back to the 185 pounds he weighed when he
married Tricia Summer. Their 10th anniversary is Saturday.
*expletive* *expletive* *expletive* lakers..... dammit, that was one hell of a beating they took :(
there will definitely need to be some moves during the off season. lamar odom's got to go, radmanovic's and walton's time are limited. pau gasol just got here so i'll give him some slack. for "big" men, they really don't give much presence in the low post. lack of defense against screen-roll and lack of being able to penetrate to the basket has plagued the lakers for a long time. when will phil jackson start to preach and teach defense?!
enough ripping of my team tho. on a positive note, they really weren't expected to make it to the post season at the beginning, and there they were in the finals. they did find a way to gel together and become more confident. they're young and really didn't deserve to win a championship. hopefully they can grow and develop together into a truly dominant force next season
As some of my friends know by now, i will be changing schools and begin teaching in downtown LA next year. unfortunately, i didnt' get my tenure at my current school, but the place i did find to teach i feel might be a better fit. smaller school, fewer students, same pay, assurance by the principal that there are no discipline problems.... sounds good right?... let's hope :)
after 18 years in irvine, i now have to look for a new place to live. my first choice of location would be in monterey park or alhambra. anyone got any good tips on nice but cheap places? i've seen a few places. if i'm willing to spend $1400 and up, i can find really nice places. but if i want to spend sub $1000, it's a bit harder.
how about downtown LA? anyone have experience living out there and any recommendations? with gas prices the way they are right now, i really don't mind living in the city, but finding a combination of nice, safe, and cheap could be difficult...
all you communications people out there. thinking of going into broadcasting? learn an important skill of reading ahead.... enjoy. nearly peed my pants yesterday watching the Lakers' post game.
I'm a very easy going chemistry teacher from los angeles. note, that i didn't say i was a good chemistry teacher...just a nice one. anyway, how does a los angeles chemistry teacher know about alivenotdead.com? my friends work there! and how do i know them you may ask...it's all about wushu. yeah. wushu!
