It's been a while since I looked back into my past... maybe to avoid my past a bit. Nothing dramatic... just felt like I have disappointed a lot of people... teachers, classmates... Well... I just want to revisit that day at the Brooklyn Museum:
Beside the Murakami exhibition that was there, which was EXCELLENT, they also had an exhibition on Utagawa: Masters of the Japanese Print, 1770–1900 . I thought it complimented Murakami's exhibition quite well. You can really see how some of his works related to the Japanese print tradition. I think it's interesting how most people don't realize that their parents are getting old till they get really sick for the first time.

I can't even remember how I came across this band, but I do remember how much I liked their music the first time I heard it even though I've have no idea what the lyrics mean. Then again, music is universal, somehow the message got across.
Even though I couldn't go to their concert at the end of March this year, I was able to watch bits and pieces of the concert on youtube and on their myspace page. One of the most awesome moments: when they brought back the great Hide on stage as a hologram... completely insane!...Read more
