Tiger style

Recently been getting our arts and craft on cutting up beer cases for the Tiger beer translate event. Held at a nice nice location overlooking Sydney harbour, it featured a bunch of artists and designers..and us :) Check our leaning tower of letters installation, some work in proogress and freestyle canvas we did on the night (whoever took that home your are lucky, treat it well, no ebay pleasssse). Also big up and thanks to our intern Mark for helping out..

Back on blog-ing

Its been a good hot minute or 3 since last put pen to paper or cursor to computer... Trying to fit everything into 140 characters on Twitter has swallowed all our time.. Whole, no chewing needed.
Anyway times are getting crazy, since last have been Shanghai, Beijing, LA, Las Vegas.. Had a chance to check out a few stores worth mentioning, Mess in Beijing www.messbeijing.com and Fruition in Las Vegas. http://fruitionlv.com;
Fruition is a likkle shop off the strip in Vegas and has some rad stuff u wont have seen anywhere..and i mean anywhere. Jeremy scott rocks this place.
Mess on the otherhand is a nice likkle store in dongcheng qu 东城区 stocks a bunch of cool labels, notably 'Kiks tyo', and Li chen's brand 'Nic is coming'..
My camera was absent so ive had to steal most of those pics from the web...However, I did manage to take a few snaps at panjiayuan flee market 潘家园古董市场.. Too much stuff here to inspire. 3QQ Vivien for showing me this spot ^^

Crate digging for designs

Check this series of designs from back back back in the early days..
'Little girl', 'Evil prince' and 'the Babekuhl wonderworld'.
Aside from having no money, It was kinda cool not having any client work back then, gave us a lot of time to do our own things. Then again i guess not much has changed on the money front.. not quite living in poverty paradise, but not wearing Rolexes either :)

Its been super hot all week in China. Busy doing some samples of a leather overnight bag.
How fresh would our 'Firmament pattern' look embossed in leather...Damn.
