First things first. Finaly I have my airfares paid and my booking confirmed.

    Tokyo, here I come.

And in other news. The Easter Feaster of chocolate has caught up with me and I'm suffering from a tooth ache. It started Monday night and hasn't let up. During the day it's not so bad. I just need to remeber to wake some Bonjeala (or however it's spelt) on the gum every few hours but the night times are just terrible. I can't lay down when I sleep because as you may or may not know when you lie down is when all the blood flow kicks in around the face. I'm also chomping Ibeprofen like candy before bed. The only plus with that is that it tends to make me drowsy so once I'm asleep I am ASLEEP.

Called the dentist today only to be told that it's a 4 to 6 week wait for an appointment. Hope the tooth calms down before then because that long in pain will drive me mad.

Toothaches are the worst! Hope it continued to settle down. I'm surprised there isn't a provision for emergency visits. Sometimes that stuff just can't wait!

Congrats on your plans to visit Tokyo. That's great!

musicnote: Thanks, I will and I may have fun for everyone who can't go to Tokyo as well. Man am I going to be hung over when I get home with that much fun being had.

JRS: I have managed to get the appointment for the 15th which isn't to bad. As a friend said today "Dentists in this country are fXXking evil!". LOL so true. But the pain is manageable so I am not to worried. If it gets to bad I'll try for a cancelation appointment.

Flagday: I did the whole telephone commando game calling all the dentists in the area and the15th was the earliest I could get. If I had a social security card (which I'm not eligable for since I am working full time) then I could have gone to the Dental Hospital in the city. It's a first come first served service for people with the right cards but you have to be there right on 7am and wait for however long it takes to get seen for emergency work. Appoinment visits have a 6 month waiting list there.

Find another dentist!!!!  For crying out loud...I know they're always busy, but you need to be seen as soon as possible.  Ask to be put on a "first call-cancellation list" where they can call you if there's a cancellation so you can get in sooner.  Good luck!  *hug*

Sorry about the tooth.  4 weeks?  I don't think I could wait.  Isn't there somewhere else you can go?

When are you heading for Tokyo?
