Boxing Day 拆禮物

今天是聖誕節翌日，12月26日節禮日（Boxing Day），香港稱為「聖誕節後第一個周日」。一般而言，如果26日是星期日，節禮日便會延至12月27日。

香港聖誕氣氛非常濃厚，早在11月中旬，四周已有各式各樣的聖誕燈飾及佈置，而我今年早在十月已開始張羅籌備，忙個不亦樂乎！

在香港普遍誤傳12月26日為拆禮物日，以為所有聖誕禮物必須等到此日才可開封，因此這天在香港又稱為「拆禮物日」。其實其他國家並沒有此傳統習俗，以歐美為例，所有聖誕節禮物早在聖誕前夕（12月24日聖誕夜，中文又名平安夜）或12月25日聖誕日早上已經可以拆開。不過，相信很多朋友一定急不及待一收到禮物便當場拆開來看，甚至即時使用！你拆了禮物沒有？
