The Skateboard Mag was started by some of the most skateboarding OG media people. Dave Swift, Grant Brittain, Ako & Atiba, Rodent, Jon Humphries, Paul Zitzer and more. I mean, I love all the official skateboard magazines; Thrasher, Slap (still), Transworld Skateboarding, The Skateboarder, SkateBook and of course, one of the best, The Skateboard Mag. Go Skateboarding Day was started in 2004 by IASC (International Association of Skateboard Companies), this year 2009, we are celebrating 5 years of Go Skateboarding Days. Hong Kong has been participating Go Skateboarding Day since last year and this year is our second, most definitely more to come.

FOREVER31 is a crew of a skateboarders age 31 or above which we started when I turned 32. Last Sunday was a blessing, the OG Hong Kong FOREVER31 crew were out and having tons of fun at Chai Wan Skatepark (except Daryll Griggs, dayeem, we miss that cat). It was myself, Warren Stuart ‘WZA’, Hui Chun Kwok ‘Lee Hawk’, Andy Lee, and Jimmy Wong. All of us have been skateboarding here in Hong Kong for (at least) more than 21 years. Hong Kong OG for real. I remember back when first Expedition skateboards was started Alphonzo Rawls, Young Richard Angelidas, Chany Jeanguenin and Chris Lambert. I remember they have an outstanding logo, pretty dope.
Fast forward to 2009, Expedition team has evolved into a pretty damn amazing skateboard team (almost perfect, you know what I’m talking about)

Eddie Chung aka Dor Yuk is 24HERBS producer. Him and Ghost Style are both responsible for all the ill beats that 24HERBS produced. Eddie has the illest production company called Drum and he’s main job is producing or composing musics for commercial, he has more than 3,000 songs/musics that has been used in TV commercial, radio commercial, etc all around Hong Kong and China. MILK magazine has been around in Hong Kong as a weekly magazine reporting about fashion, street fashion, sneakers, electronics, movies, musics, etc for a while and let me tell you this, MILK Magazine is the most official and the most legit for this kind of magazine in Hong Kong.
If you are in Hong Kong, definitely grab a copy at your local magazines stand or simply at 7-11. It comes out every Wednesday.

Beats Magazine is a free local English magazine in Hong Kong that covers (mostly) musics, concerts, parties and some fashion. We were invited to do a budget styling. It’s not that hard in Hong Kong to find something nice or decent with less money.
It’ll be doper if Beats write everything that we said during the interview but it’s all good. Pick up a copy and check out Green Day. Somehow, I’m backing Green Day, not sure about other bands after Green Day though.
Louis Vuitton is doing this art show at Tsim Sha Tsui Art Cultural Centre. Simon Birch (Hong Kong’s finest artist/painter) told me that Hong Kong government is funding HKD6,000,000 on this project. WTF? Fo real?? That’s crazy. Literally means Hong Kong Government is sponsoring Louis Vuitton to promote their brand. Doesn’t fuckin make sense at all?
