We slept in on Sunday cos we stayed up late the previous night watching
"Blades of Glory" at the hotel. The freaking movie was hilarious!!

We strolled along the Embaracadero, enjoying the beautiful weather and
naked guys skating. Had lunch at the most talked about Vietnamese
restaurant, The Slanted Door, inside the Ferry Building Marketplace. I
don't know why, but I keep associating slanted door with slanted eyes.
It's just weird to me. I guess it's because the restaurant is Asian and
other race always describe Asians with slanted eyes.

After lunch, we checked out the array of specialty stores the
marketplace has to offer. The place is filled with numerous shops
catering to olive oils, jerkies, floral, chocolates, wines, cheeses,
gourmet ingredients.

In
the evening, we drove to Lou's lovely place to have dinner with her and
Peachey. This was what's on the menu from Lou's Kitchen:
Tomato Soup
Rock Shrimp Gazpacho Salad
Roasted hen with Herbe de Provence
Sweet Corn Ristotto Cakes
Dessert: Peach's famous Tart Tartin
Wine: 2005 Francis Coppola Diamond Gold Label Chardonnay (organic grapes)
Piper Sonoma Blanc De Noir (we can do Mimosa also)
The Mimosa was GREAT!!

The protective Ebony. We had to ask for her permission before walking in front of her.

I
was reluctant to leave SF, but I was getting home sick at the same
time. I love SF! I will definitely return to this place in the future
and do more. I was satisfy with my trip overall because I was able to
do everything on my "to do list," except for Alcatraz. Perhaps, I'll
leave that for next time. Au revoir SF!
