What's happenin', Party People!
OBWS, huh? LOL!
I apologize for givin' y'all this OBWS, but work has been heavy. My call-time is 5am everyday...and I wrap around 7pm. By the time I get back to the hotel..it's just shit, shower, and sleep. I've been doing mostly action, so my knee's not fully healed yet...and just 3 weeks ago..I dislocated my thumb cuz my knee gave in on me....and the first thing that landed on the ground was my thumb.
Pulled my thumb back out, wrapped it up and continued working. No pain, no gain....but fuckin' OUCH! Oh well...gotta pay bills, ya heard? This project I'm workin' on is by far my favorite. Everytime I read the scrīpt, it gives me goosebumps. Yes..it's that good
. I just put up a Classified photo album, which is only viewable by my friends...please don't be offended, y'all. I really want to share the pix with you guys, but the production will beat my ass silly if the pictures leak out. All I can say for now is..the director is Yuen Woo Ping. Like my Grandpa used to say..."Good things comes to those who wait." (Eh..anybody know when the fuck Street Fighter 4 is coming out? I'm goin' nuts here!) HA!Alrighty..since I can't blog/post pix about this current project. Imma do somethin' like this:
1. Ladies and Gents...thanks for all the comments and funny jokes. You guys are hilarious.
I miss y'alll too. I wish you guys health and happiness every single day. Since I can't show you what I look like in this movie..all I can do is this: 6am...before headin' off to work. Callin' my Mom and tellin' her I'm fine.... LIES!

LOL!! Good thing she knows squat about computers.

2. I miss my homies...

Rockstars!
Stud. Period. Ladies...grab him before he's taken.
2 more studs...Eric and Jimmy...but they've been yoink'd.
Van...need I say mo'?U 2 R awesome!

Phil's sober....LIES!

Smile more, Nic!
(btw..Birds of Prey is gettin' ruff!)Etchy and Stephen. AnD Powa! (Patrick..you're famous...you don't need pictures.)

All three of us are sober............uh..yeah.

Dunno who this cat belongs to...but I wanted to yoink it home.
3. This is random...... Before I got into this industry...I worked as a construction worker back in Rhode Island, a Unit Assistant for a hospital, landscaping, and my last job was a bartender. I had a an interview about 2 months ago at CLIQ with Lee Yen Ting from Hong Kong's Cable TV. I used to know how to make 152 drinks...now I only know 2: Screwdriver and Redbull Vodka. Here's me showin' off my skillz:
(FYI...I broke 2 bottles...but who's countin'.. HA!)
"Oh my God...that was the worst drink ever
.".....I'm sure that's what he was thinkin'. ...but look at him. He's wasted!
Anyway, I've done a lot interviews with Lee Yen Ting...he's one of my favorite reporters. I had a blast doin' that interview.Well...that's it for now. Hope this has cured the OBWS for some of y'all. But remember.... I'm just a normal guy, doin' my job and tryin' to get paid so I can take good care of my loved ones. If one day, this actin' thing doesn't workout...here's plan B:
I wore that shirt the whole day.....still no one came up to me.....

....Guess I'll just keep actin' a fool.
Until next time....Love, Peace, Heart & Soul,

Dear Homies,
Thanks for all the candy-coated comments. I can now walk without lookin' like I'm gettin' bit by a dog every step I take... Wearin' a brace helps...and no longer need a cane. I wanna reply back to every single one of you, but I'm too lazy. LOL! Just kiddin'!
. You guys are awesome...straight from the heart. I'm truly grateful. The picture of my bald head is hilarious...so hilarious that I've already shaved my head:Johnny did a great job....but just FYI..he cuts hair with an axe....
That's what I love about AnD....full of cool, talented, creative, down-to-earth, and spankalicious ppl. You guys bright up my days like you wouldn't believe. Keep 'em comin'!
Ok..I don't have a lot of time left. I'm off to Xi'an:
Xi'an is in the middle of China....I think. Once I get to Xi'an...I'm takin' a 5 hour drive to:
Notice the top left corner. I'm told there's nothing but trees, caves, and cliffs. I've also been informed that this whatchamacallit place is known to have heavy sandstorms...(Xbox is stayin' home...
). So basically, I'm going camping.......while I shoot my next movie. There will be no internet service in that area...which sucks major monkey asses. However, I will only be there for about 1 month. So...I guess I'll see y'all when I get back. "Oh my lord! What's Onimal gonna do without video games?!
"...you say? BAM!:PSP....From my dear friend from Singapore, Charlene. It might just look like a normal PSP to y'all...but this PSP will forever be in my life...even if it breaks:
Thank you so much, Charlene.
Alrighty....I'm gonna miss y'all. I wish y'all all the best, always. Take good care of yourselves and your loved ones. KWAN to the max! Health and happiness....ALL DAY~!
Heart & Soul,

Homies
( 繁 | 简 | 日 )Tuesday, Sep 2, 2008 1:47PM / Standard Entry
I'm usually very active...usually. For the past week...all I've been doing is this:
Why?
I was training for a project. Haven't done a butterfly-twist in a few years. So me and my dumbass jump'd straight into it...without warming up. BAM! At first, I thought I broke my knee. I've never felt so much pain from a leg injury my entire life. There goes my Medial collateral ligament. Yay! Vacation!

I have to thank my homies Phil and Daphinator:
( I called him right when I got hurt....)
( Need I say more? )
Phil immediately called his kungfu sister, who is absolutely amazing at Chinese medicine. My knee's been gettin' better day by day. And if it wasn't for Daph, I'd still be doing this:
Folks. Everytime I feel pain...I think of Homies; family, friends. Next thing I know...the pain is gone. Matter fact, I even made it to Nic's birthday party:
(Yes. I bought him flowers for his Bday. That's right.
)Take care, Homies.

Just saw Patrick's blog....then jump'd to Fatima Ya Qi's blog. Shockin'...
A few years ago, Douglas ( My Mom's boyfriend for the past decade ), took me to hang out at the American Club in Taipei. Afterwards, he wanted to take me to go see his Father. I was like, "Say what?". He then took me to an army memorial place near by. He showed me a picture of his Father:
Tears fell from his eyes while he was tellin' me about how proud he is of his Father. To be honest, I really don't know much about Taiwan/China's history. But after that day, I started readin' up more about it. Menglianggu Campaign. Douglas Chang's Father was a true Hero.
I don't get to see Douglas much, because he's always flyin' around the world doing his business. No matter how busy he is, he'll always do his best to make time to gimme a call and check up on me. I love Douglas because of the way he is, the way he treats people, and the way he loves my Mommy:
Thank you, Fatima.

Some Crazy Shit...Part 2
( 繁 | 简 | 日 )Tuesday, Aug 26, 2008 8:40PM / Standard Entry
I had a major crush on Coco Lee when I was a teenager. Why?Video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E79J6wYGk1s
Van servin' it up with Coco:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBsn2aldUmMThere.

I remember one time, during summer vacation in Taipei, I heard this song coming out of a store. I was attracted instantly. Her voice was baby-butt and the melody was just music to my ears. Now, I grew up in Lincoln, Rhode Island. All I listened to back then was all American RnB, Hip Hop, and Rap. Coco Lee was the first Asian American singer that I enjoyed listenin' to. I became a super fan since the age of 16. Bought all her albums, watched all her videos, and introduced my non-Asian friends to this wonderful Asian singer, Coco Lee. They were all impressed.
Here's the crazy part. After I moved to Asia and started doin' my thang, me and a good friend of mine, Jeff Huang, from the famous Taiwan hip hop group MACHI, were sittin' at an internet cafe playin' video games. (I think that was also the first time I met Van
. ) Anyways, we we just talkin'..and he asked me who's the best female singer. Without thinking twice, I said Coco Lee. Jeff replied with, "Foo! I know her! I'll introduce you to her!" So, long story short, 2 days later, Jeff introduced me to Coco Lee. My knees buckled when I walked up to shake her hand. I was content. "I shook Coco Lee's hand!" After that day, Coco and I became friends. I haven't seen her in ages, but I wish her well everyday. Right when I thought it couldn't get any better...this crazy shit happens...One day, Coco asked me to help her out with something...and that "something" goes a little somethin' like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_9y7sq-eQMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5rWOz6Xx7k
(Sorry, folks. Youtube's acting up. Just click on the links...and if possible, view it in "high quality")

Crazy shit, huh?
Thanks, Jeff!
Van! Put me in yo' video! I'll do it for beer and food! And you know this, Mang!
