Okay, okay, tomorrow Monday is my LAST day at job FINALLY. Usually when people have a birthday or something to celebrate, they bring food... so me being as NICE as I am, I will bring food to celebrate that I am QUITTING =P

So, how's my summer planned finally?

July 11th: Take a plane to Xi'an, and study chinese there for 2 weeks. On July 28th, when I finished my classes, Alex will join me there for some hardcore tourism.

July 31st: we will take an overnight train to Hong Kong, where we rent an appartment in Olympic.

August 4th: Two of my best friends, David and Monica, will come to Hk to visit us, for fun...oh, and tourism!!

August 14th: David and Monica will go back to Spain, and Alex and me will do some more "unusual tourism". We will take random ferries to random islands and start walking =p

August 25th: Alex will go back to Spain, and I will be left on my own in Hk. Which is not too bad, because I will have some more time to spend with my friends there.

August 31st: I will take a plane to get back home.

So... Xi'an. Never been there, and I don't know anyone there? How am I feeling? Damn scared... I am very anti-social, and in two weeks I may not make a single friend =p

About Hk: So, apart from the typical touristic spots: Victoria Peak, Mongkok, Lantau Buddha, Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple, etc... what would u recommend? I mean... I wanna go to nice places that are not in ur typical toust guides.

Well...that's my summer for now...I am sure more surprises will come soon =P

PS: A short Thailand trip is on the hold untill we check special offers in Hk...

Wow, it sound REALLY great....I didn't expect less from you =).
I'm sure Xi'an will be wonderful...many surprises can come out in those 2 weeks hahahaa, and you'll improve your Chinese *_* that's always a good point to work on, even though you " won't make any friend " ( and I DON'T THINK SO...I'll wait for your new friends pics )

I'm very happy that all is going OK and your trip is finally fixed.

You know, I can't wait for the end of July coming ...these days I'm simply DYING... this month will be endless u.u, many things can happen, and all of them deppend on the scholarship.

You quited your job 2 days ago but....congratulations anyway ~~~~~~~~

    Hugs

nice.   Xi'an is a pretty good place to visit, I have been twice.  the people are nice too.  I'm sure it'll be easy to meet people around the university.

I may have some bicycling trips planned that time while you're here too btw...

I think one's last day at work should be a celebration ( unless they were fired, and in some cases, a celebration is in order )
Anyways, your trip sound great.  I hope you have a wonderful time :)

Looks like a great itinerary. You'll make friends with your fellow Chinese-learning students or is this a private tutorial? Going to be warm in the interior. You can pose with some real terra cotta warriors.

When you return, will you return to this last job or find a new one?

You are a brave soul to have quitted and embark on a journey to a place which many Chinese have not been.
