     I have been reading several blogs about the spanish racism basketball team ad.

     I saw it, and I find it racist too...but..u wanna know the funny thing? I have been looking in spanish newspapers online, and the ONLY reference to it, it's a few articles saying:

     There's NO racism in the ad, Chinese people say they don't understand what the ad mean, they don't have such gesture in their culture, we had to explain them what does it mean.

     I mean...I like Spain, and I am spanish...but COME ON!!! Spain needs to learn a lesson or two about multiculturalism and RESPECT!!

     Okay, I am oficially pissed off.

    jeje, has estado mucho entre chinos! (broma!)

    es verdad y no, es decir, el paletismo demostrado por los nuestros es el de siempre, "en su linea", "spain is different", etc...

    pero al mismo tiempo la prensa ha exagerado las cosas, aqui los chino-americanos estan que revientan, pero porque en EEUU los asiaticos han sido perseguidos, esclavizados, hasta puestos en campos de concentracion y ridiculizados por el simple hecho de ser otra raza, aunque hubiesen nacido aqui. por todo esto y mucho mas, este tipo de "gestos" ahora no se permiten hacer dentro de la sociedad.

    pero en espanna ni en muchos paises esto no es asi, y tampoco las cosas son para tanto. al pan pan y al vino vino ;)  tu como lo ves? aparte de estar officially pissed off ;)

    los chinos en china hasta lo han encontrado gracioso el tema

    I know how it feels to be disgusted and disgraced by something one's country does,the ad was in very poor taste, but every country has done something this stupid before.

    Yeh, Spain just got caught bc they actually took a pic of doing something people found offensive. Everyone's bigoted. It's common knowledge.

    the world is a racist place bro ..... just hope  the olympic spirit surpasses all the world's shittiness ...

    both the men's and women's Spain vs China basketball games were fun and exciting to watch though -- haha!
