I will bring Amelie back to Taipei tomorrow, not with my E. cos he needs to go to Korea for a business trip, but he'll join us 2 weeks later.  First time to bring Amelie alone to take a flight, but I think it's OK cos she's willing to WALK now.   I have no idea why I can't upload pics here, will do it again when I get back from Taiwan

I will stay a little longer this time, cos I need to rent out my apartment.  My E.'s colleague moved out in May, so I must find another tenant, and hopfully he/ she is a good one. <sigh>

I think we have so many to care about when you're middle-age - family, child, career, housing, retirement plan, vacation, education, money, health.......................maybe we're too greedy.

Will blog more when I get back from Taiwan.  Good luck to my AnD freinds!

    Take care!

In China, it is best to get recommendation from friends and known parties to get a tenant.

Take one day at a time and middle age comes with maturity and wisdom that make decision making easier.  This is because we know what we want.

How do you advertise your apartment's for rent? Have you had bad tenants - the kind who leaves the place a mess, don't bother to clean while they were living there, broke things, don't report problems until you discover them after they've moved out? We have a house we're trying to let out. Can't people stay in a house longer than 2 years? Gah.

Can't get away from those middle-age things. All part of the plan, I guess.

Good luck to you and take care!

you could try using a 'trunki' if amelie doesn't like walking in the airport.  one child is definately easier than 2.  http://www.trunki.co.uk/
