    Continue to blog about my trip in Taipei ( a bit lazy recently).  I love the food fm. 台北士林夜市, one of the MUST visit night market in Taipei city.  I think lots of HK people is familiar with this place, it's another famous tourist spot.  Actually lots of Taiwanese food is really YUMMY, esp. fm. the night market.  We went to there just for food, didn't walk/ shop around (lots of small shops selling all kinds of things you can imagine), cos it's too crowded and too hot.

    This dessert is called 愛玉冰 (sorry, don't know the English, but it's a kind of plant and made it into jello form), and with some lemon juice in it, very yummy esp. during hot weather!

    Like jello:

    NT30 = HK$8.-, very cheap.

    Another favourite food I love is 豆腐 Stinky Tofu, it's hard to explain in words, just YUMMMMMMMY......and with the sour vegetables on top.........

    The inside look of the temporary night market, very crowded:

    魷魚羮 (Squid soup?):

    蚵仔煎 (Fried egg w/ clam):

    Very crowded during weekend:

    Fresh food:

    There are so many food you can try in this place!

    Another famous food you can buy for gift is the hand-made peanut/ almond candy (not cheap, around NT150- for  a bag), sorry, no pic, cos I ate it all in 2 days....... Ohhhhhhhhhh, I miss the food in Taiwan already!  There're still so yummy food I didn't talk about, waiting you to explore if you visit Taiwan.

    I was there in April, my first time to Taiwan, everynight we hung out at a different night market. We went to Shilin Night "mare" market on a Sat night. The crowd was 10 times more than what you posted here. People were pushing and shouting, can't even stop for a few seconds to look at things, don't talk about buying ... Maybe there was some events going on that night. I do miss the food too. Love the grilled sausages and deep fried chicken (a lot of spices on it) yummy!!!!
