SO i turned 24 on the 24th, of October

2 fabulous celebrations and 1 awesome pair of spectacles.

Novotel Clarke Quay on Children's Day

My childhood friend got married this morning.

Its an atypical wedding by Singapore standards, an outdoor day-time wedding, with the solemnization + wedding reception combined.

I came back at about 3pm and the whole world went 'HUH? so fast?'

You see, in Singapore, (and i think hkg actually?), weddings are typically elaborate whole day affairs.

Morning volleying between groom's place, bride's place, back to groom's place, etc etc. Photo shoots, mad rush to hotel where banquet is held, and then finally, the classic 30 tables (300 pax!!) banquet at a 5 star hotel in town that will stretch from 8pm to about 11pm.

So this intimate, cosy affair for close family + friends only was a refreshing change. and I liked it immensely =]

All in all, only one word to describe - BEAUTIFUL.

Thanks to the bestie E, i got passes to watch the F1 qualifying race on saturday at the Padang Grandstand.

I brought along Wenya, who, sad to say, still hasn't joined AnD since the last time I blogged. But she will one day! haha.

Anyway its really awesome being there! The sweet roars of the engines when they zoom right past you! and the crowd + atmosphere adds to the adrenaline + excitement. Imma gonna get my very own 3-days passes next year, I promise!
