Going to Beijing!!!

I'm soooooooo happy cuz I'm heading to Beijing tomorrow morning!! Early early in the morning though...>.< But what the heck, its my 1st time to Beijing!! YAY!! I'm going to join local tours to see the monuments they built for the Olympics...probably run around Forbidden City and of course 798 and other art districts and most of all EATEATEAT!! Yum!

Anyway, I need to inspire myself these days, so hopefully I can get something out of this Beijing trip. Just go to my art page if you want to see my art!! It won't be long until I post something new there so keep checking!

Hi everyone! This is Amabel, or you can also call me Ama or 萱寧. I'm an artist and a singer. I love painting and I love singing, mostly jazz, blues, funk and soul music. Charlie Brown Day!

Today is such an enjoyable day! Had a gathering with my fans at Charlie Brown Cafe~ We all had the same food! Spaghetti Bolognaise!! >.<

The idiotic glasses I'm wearing~ I do look cool in them though, i think :p

Then we head down to Toy 'r' us! I love this place. We had so much fun just fiddling with toys...I wish I can buy everything in there~

Bleh....~ :p (i hate Barney though by the way)

But I sure love this little blue dolphin :)

Wish the day could have been longer...oh well, another time for sure! Here's a picture of Goopy, the dog that I always visit when I'm in TST. I try and bring my fans to see him, but he was out strolling somewhere. He's a cute and friendly dog. I always think he has a bit of Gobi and Sohpie in him. Cream white like Sohpie, with her pointy ears, and his face looks just like Gobi and his tail too, which is point and thin. :) His real name is Siu Pak (little white), but i gave him the name Goopy :) hee

Anyway, hope everyone had a great holiday! I'm painting and painting everyday ne! :)

Hey everyone! Tomorrow I'll be attending the 博愛寵物嘉年華08 in 九龍公園露天廣場 :) The event starts at 12pm until 5pm and I'll be there around 2pm :) I'll be bringing Gobi, one of my darling doggie :) See you!!

~Exhibition Week~

Snap shot of me in the outdoor area of Apero Yo exhibition~

What a great week before the holidays begin! I went to two exhibitions, one of them is the Chanel Mobile Art exhibit, and the other one is my joint exhibition in Chai Wan :)

The Mobile Art exhibit is not bad for the first 5 minutes actually, cuz they give you an mp3, and there'll be a narrator that guides you through the whole exhibition. My narrator's voice sounds like Joni Mitchell...but I'm still figuring out whether its her or not, it sure sounds like her. A husky, rusty, deep, trashy voice.

Anyway, at the end the exhibit was kind of too commercial, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

An errie female bathroom right outside the exhibition....

This is a little compartment with super neon lights in it. It makes you dizzy and almost a black out if you stare too long. Above are some jeans designs by T-bone, a multi talented artist, who designs jeans, graphics, graffiti, paints.. etc.

This is a picture collage of many japanese men with tattoos on. Really cool~

They have a large outdoor area, where my other new friend Warren is showing his skating vidoes and pictures. Nice sofas where everyone can sit and enjoy the artistic atmosphere. Here's a pic of Warren and Me, and the background is a tribute graffiti for Fei Fei. Really nice~

It was a great exhibition. So many people came...I think around 200!! They had snacks served in the outdoor area as well, drinks, and satays!! I had quite a bit of that, really yummy :) Anyway, if anyone is still interested, I hope you can still drop by and take a look at the exhibit :) Thank you for the fans who came to my show :) yay! Next time more exhibitions coming up~ :) Muah
