Once again DZ would like to congratulate all the winners in the Open Vip Style Category in Mean Machine 09'. Although the results were revealed much earlier, on behalf of DZ I sincerely would like to express my sincere gratitude to all participants in this category and to all members and friends that have came to support us including Melissa, Hawkerjack, Team Impact.
We had difficulty adjusting to the site on our first day as we had no idea to what extent our location stretch to. Given the limited space we were drawn to position our cars to a horizontal line. We didnt manage to pull a lot of crowd in on the first day partly because of the positioning of cars but the main reason for so was the weather. It rained almost the whole day and the crew wiped the cars consistently when it stopped till we gave up in the end
The second day was different. After surveying the site, we came up with plan to position our cars by way freestyle. Crowd started pulling in as early as lunch time and we had our cars ready as early as that time. We put up a great show from day till nite. Weathers fine and we had nothing to complain about on the second day.
The results were ok but we felt we can do better. We reckon that we could sweep all 3 trophies but it was not to be. Maybe that was too much to ask for or maybe something was just not rite and we need to put in more effort in our cars. Whatever it is, we had fun and I believe the 1st timers also gained some valuable experience in the event.
Finally I will conclude by saying DZEUS VIP still rocks the nothern region and we will continue to do so with support of all fans and members! Without you guys we are nothing! A million thanks to all of you here!
