got maths papers back ... 57... gosh thats like dangerous seriously... but then i'm 50 percentile so hmm not that bad. oh wells... got to go for maths... should have came to school later i.e. same time my parents leave the house.. so tired now only got less than 3 hours of sleep. i keep getting insomia when i start thinking about the KangXi show. Xuan Ye is such a nice name!
  • exams over!

    Wednesday, Sep 19, 2007 9:16AM / Members only

yup yups! exams are over. 1 more month to A levels! 是悲还是喜?
anyways really bad this time. i'm almost too afraid to get back the results.
oh well.. can chiong the last month.

finally realised something or willing to admit something...
while i might be 'addicted' or rather love to watch shows
this addiction is my bane and will be the very cause my failure
bringing the inevitable ruin of my life
hence while there is still time to correct it
i must understand that the actors in the shows
    are already successful
why should i harp on a success not mine?
they didn't get their successes in watching movies...

read the biography of wang leehom, gosh he is such a genius!
finally watched the jay chou movie Secrets, couldn't believe it, what a brilliant guy, and his first movie too... wow... genius!

One's born on this earth with nothing
One leaves this earth with nothing
only the peace emotions and love experience
yet is this for one to take?

    Eighteens years of connections
    of warmth and of experimentation
only One year to determine your decision
to turn your back on me
    and relinquish all that stood
    for family ties!

    If this should determine fate
crushing down on the dependent body
    then there's nothing left
    accept to wish
that there was more to this life
    to achievements that you perceive
    so high...

Ever wondered what life meant for you, what achievements meant and what the sacrifices for those would bring about?
What other meant to you and what you meant for those others?
Would life only be purposeful if it revolved around others? Would you regret that you didn't strive for yourself?
After all, life is about living and individual life is about living for yourself.
  • Thank You for Smoking

woohoo! last day of school. for this week at least...

didn't go to school yesterday... couldn't get up, my nose was blocked and throat a bit sore. I didn't want to turn on the air con because I knew this will happen but there were too many mosquitoes. So i spent the entire day playing civilisation three call to power. then my mum came home at 4 so i had to stop. but i managed to survive to 2050 AD i think can't remember the precise year. not bad considering i lost the race for edison's lab and the stupid spanish had triple the number of my cities and i stupidly formed an alliance with them and exchange like tons of advances. and one of my cities drowned due to flooding from global warming. my land was almost wiped out by pollution. cool.. at least i captured bordering russian cities. haha.

should try king + 7 other countries next time. :P

watched "Thank You for Smoking" (first time i see katie holmes act - and it was a rather disturbing sex scene) last thursday for GP. gosh its so nice! i think Kan's improving .. at least he decided that we need for than listen to him talk and put one sentence in many different ways and linking every thing to a GP topic. Great show! must watch! skipped his lesson today. i forgot to do the comprehension so I decided i could sit through his triple period while shoots every question at me. GP lessons are meant for sleeping. Not that he bothers about that. All he wants to do is talk and shoot questions while repeating them a second time because no one had heard him.

taking the psychometric test this sat at hwa chong. damn it. i though i applied to raffles! but either way its bad. at hwa chong i'll see all my nanyang classmates and juniors and its my brother's old school.. at raffles i'll see all my primary school classmates. which is better? ok maybe hwa chong's better. hope i'll do well. wonder what its like... i'd better ask clarence. heard PSC asked him to re take because he straights As did not match the lousy score he got at psychometric test.

oh wells! happy holidays.. and happy mugging!

    continuation after 45 mins.

i can't watch youtube anymore! stupid dial up machine because my adsl broken down. rahhh! irritating irritating... oh wells just have to wait another 2 months more for the new line... Rah! but also good.. by then my exams finish and i can watch everyday 24hrs! can't wait to finish the sword show by alec su..

reading the jet li 'discussion': how can it be called a discussion? he's just answering the questions. toinks! shouldn't he put like talk on the thread?

  • Happy National Day SIngapore...

    Friday, Aug 3, 2007 9:54AM / Members only

This year's national day is gonna be big! since its held at marina bay. they constructed a whole floating platform for it and seats for thousands. But the national day song this year sucks! seriously. and i was travelling past it on tues. i realised that in front of the floating plaform the the marina bay construction... for those who don't know its this really big project whereby a integrated resort is build followed by luxury apartments with private jetties and a freshwater, lagoon with this enormous park.

    'The Sail'@marina bay
(what copycats. but its a service apartment not a hotel.. so the slight difference.)

    the IR

National Day means 3 days of school holiday and then the weekend. woohoo. actually its only 2 days but national day eve is school celebration... not worth travelling all the way to school so i'm ponning. This year it means 5 days to study harder. i bet my class will be mugging like mad. I haven't been watching much tv lately. sort of loss my appetite for shows; everytime i watch a programme i feel so guilty of not studying ... sort of a nagging feeling that i won't be able to get to law school.

my internet's still down ... brother hasn't gotten around to connect it... hmmph...

i was fortunate enough to turn on the radio at the right time to hear Jay Chou doing this live interview. hmm.. i can tell all he wanted to do was sleep. wonder which hotel did they stay in? probably fullerton or maybe raffles... but probably not raffles, the rates there are like for royals. the person who owns it is a royal. haha. but cool, fullerton... my dad has membership for certain facilities there. he says it really extreme luxury.

few days ago there was a newpaper article on JJ lin in Life!. hmm... apparently he's two years my brother's senior at ACS(I). ok he's like to an extent quite ACSian, the sleep during assembly and flagraising (although i used to do that too! haha) and mass... but ... actually saying that he's from ACS will spark quite a bit of criticisms. he never said that he later went to SAJC instead of keeping to the ACS family. that's like betrayal and not a true ACSian. like my brother, i think he sort of loss contact with all his ex ACS classmates when he went hwa chong. betrayer!

    late for math already.

    Jamie,

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Thanks for visiting my blog. Almost all of the films I have done are American. Some have played in Asia as well. Here's a link to some fun visuals...
