We can see total solar eclipse today.

I'm looking forward to it.

The sun is going to be covered by moon 80% at my town.

But it is rainy in this morning.

And it is cloudy now.

The soler eclipse start at 9:45a.m. untill12:25p.m.

May it's uncloud !

Today's lunch is

mackerel boiled and sweetede soybean paste サバの味噌煮

fried chicken with sesame ゴマから揚げ

crab cream croquette かにクリームコロッケ

kidney beans salad いんげんのおかか和え

bonito boiled down in sweetede soy 鰹の佃煮

I missed to season. It is good but not best.

I'll try my best next time.

Yes, I studied fencing at school and university but it's very restrictive and too "sport" orientated nowadays that it's very unsatisfactory as a martial art.
That is why I like Iaido so much - it has a purity and a search for perfection that is the soul of budo and has an element of meditation that i love.
Miyamoto Musashi is quite famous in Europe as well, for any serious martial artis "the book of five rings" is essential reading!

No, I study Iaido but I've had an interest in Japanese martial arts, especially sword arts for many many years now! I knew that white hakama were quite common but I'd never seen a white Bogu set - Kendo is not very common in Europe still!

Hi there! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply...
I didn't get to see much Sakura in Japan, I went to Tokyo and a few cities to the South so I was too late to see any unfortunately. I just got to see how crowded Tokyo can get during Golden Week! WOW!!!
I've never been to Hokkaido - next time - I want to go skiing!
