    Happy Birthday Momo Zh

(I don't know how to type the name in chinese characters- sorry guys!)

This is a photo taken on her birthday during studio filming. One big happy family! Mo Zhe, is one of my favourite HK actor and so wonderful as a person in real life. Before entering into the business, I saw her in Toronto one day at my favourite Chinese restaurant, a couple of years back and I mustered enough courage to ask for her autograph. I was so starstruck and muttered something like, "uh...Ms. Mo Shurn Qwun, I really like watching your uh..... films. I think your sooooo talented....uh.....would you mind terribly if I got your autograph?" I don't even know if she understood my muttering but she smiled sweetly and signed on the back of my daddy's business card in which I have securly placed in the back of my photo album back home. Tee hee, and now I'm working with her and learning the tricks of the trade from her....I'm estatic!

Happy happy birthday!!!! -- more photo's coming sooooon!

    Good morning everyone!

It seems like endless months since I've blogged so I decided to update a bit with what's going on with me (since for some weird reason, I can't seem to sleep much in the past week!) So, the last day on "Burning Flame 3" was done filming and it was along filming process but I learnt so much and had SO MUCH FUN! Because my role was so "active" and I got to do many stunts, it was like I was on a sugar rush everyday at work (ok, except on days when I didn't get any sleep at all - then it was caffeine rush!) yuk yuk!

Now, I can turn my focus on filming "Off Pedder". My character is a twenty-some reporter from South Africa, she has a very direct and upbeat personality. She is very open with her opinons and will fight for what is wrong and right. Her intake on life is very different from those around her and is always searching for the truth and always wants to expose the "truth". I'm working with such experienced actors it's utterly NERVE WREAKING! ha ha, but I'm also endlessly grateful for this opportunity to be able to watch the best at work on a daily basis. They are so, "oh my god" SMOOTH at what they do. To be able to learn a quarter of their acting abilities, I would already be happy happy happy!

Here are a few photo's to share!

Oh Halloween day, Joyce made a bunch of cupcakes for us! yummmm!

So delicious! Reminded me of my Canadian days, I miss home!

Then I did a "Bailey's" Editorial photoshoot with Jason...hee hee, this was the only photo on my camera that was NOT as out of focused! tee hee, I'll wait until I get more photo's before posting those up as well.

Well, I better get back crunching on these scripts, long day today and tommorow!

Ciao and STAY TUNED ! (Off Pedder, everynight 8pm- TVB)

    MUAH!

  • A new boy in my life
     |  )

    Hi Everyone!

I'm currently in the middle of shooting, "Pedder Street" and it's coming out next week, so stay tuned!  It's been really busy lately but after my first kitten, I'm totally in LOVE WITH CATS! So I decided to drive to SPCA to adop another kitten 3 weeks after April...it's a little boy. I kept his original name, "George". He's alot more moodier than April (cancer sign, what can I say?) and complains often and gets in all sorts of trouble. The other day he fell into the toilet (HA HA! & Gross - I KNOW!) and managed to knock over all my perfume bottles and skin care products. His newest fetish are my coins & after- shower water (again - EWWW!) . I come home to find my change scattered all over my floor and oh yes, he's a panty raider! Ha ha, ok boys will be boys, I guess!?

It was a very difficult first week when I first brought George home as April was used to having the place to herself, there were attacks and hissing...I thought they'd NEVER get along. Oh yes, and George attacked me the second day after he found cheese in my trash bin and I tried to take it away from him, despite his hissing....(hey, I HAD to show him I was the boss-right!?) lol. Now I have a scar on my finger that's slowly going away. Despite their first fights, they're best buddies now and quite often ignore ME!

Isn't he the perfect definition of cuteness: I just melted when I saw him.....

I still melt when I look at him! Man, Cats are addictive! You just can't stop at just one! Let's try to save as much animals as we can as terrible things are happening to these poor little defensive creatures out in the streets. They are also God's creatures - just like you and I.

    God Bless All,

    MUAH!

  • My New Family Member *

    Saturday, Sep 6, 2008 1:25AM / Standard Entry

Just wanted to share with you guys, A new addition to my family, I adopted her from SPCA a week ago. This is my first kitten and I've fallen head over heels in love with cats. She's born in the same month as me (an Aries!) so I decided to name her APRIL. She loves people and smells wonderful!!!

She was reluctant to eat the first 3 days and is very thin but she's eating alot more now and getting more at a healthier weight. She's a bright cookie and seems to be IN LOVE with Pizza. I think she had alot of it when she was out in the streets! I figured that out a painful way one night when I ordered pizza for dinner, she jumped on my back desperately wanted a bite. But alas, no human food for my baby, I want her to grow up healthy!

Her favorite toys are everything BUT her own toys (that's my camera case she's chewing on)

and her favorite place for a power nap is right here... (i'm not complaining!)

There are so many homeless animals out in the streets in any part of the world that we live in, some with a horrible history and most of have lived a very unfair life. Abused by irresponsible people or abandoned by irresponsible owners. They all deserve a warm home and all just need a little bit of love. For those who are really looking to bring a pet into their homes, please help save a life and adopt one from your closest shelter. They make such amazing pets and you'd wonder why in the world would people neglect this little creature when you look into their eyes. They have so much love to give in return - I love my little April!

  • Go !

Go China Go!  Go HK Go!

Every chance I get, I turn on the tube to keep track of the Olympics. China always seems to amaze me - over and over again. The opening was incredible, though I didn't watch all 4 hours of it my favourite part was the Tai Chi. How in the world did they maintain a perfect circle, through side kicks, turns, jumps,  is beyond me. I am so proud to witness this and it makes me feel even more proud to be Chinese (3 cheers!) .

I've been watching mainly through the High Definition T.V. at TVB's makeup room lately. And it has finally convinced me that I needed to upgrade my own...so my new Sony W,  has finally arrived today! So excited! It's sitting in a huge box waiting for installation. (Where's the installation guy!? - Hurry please! ) hee hee. Now I can clearly see individual sweat beads on all the athletes, my world seems clearer! And I'm never going back! Hee hee.

China is killing! 20 gold medals and the games aren't half over yet so more gold coming our way! I get all teary when I see the athletics win, to feel the amount of hard work over the years of training, the physical pain and the obstacles they had to overcome mentally is overwhelming!

On another note: Here's a photo from one of my days of shooting "Burning Flame 3" With Dexter, our "Fireman's Dog". Isn't he a sweetheart!?

    Muah!

    Wishing everyone Good health!
