    Goodmorning...

The suns raising and I'm watching old chinese shows & unpacking...didn’t sleep last night so I'm going to have to grab a cup of coffee on my way to work.

Yesterday, I went to Shatin's Dragon Boat Race event as a special guest to present awards. It was memorable as it was my first time meeting Donald Tsang and the 16 MHK '07 contestants. Everyone looks larger than life on screen…lol guess that works against any gals’ favor. Though, I do wonder who I will be crowning in one months time.  .  .i t ' s    s u r e     e x c i t i n g !

    Cheers to you all!

  • Back in Hong Kong!

    Tuesday, Jun 19, 2007 10:22PM / Standard Entry

    Hello!  Jetlegged....

I'm back from Toronto! Though short, it was a great trip. I had my long awaited Canadian breakfast with my cousin who's in the Canadian army. Im crazy about military stuff! I have a very small collection of army badges/medals (not sure if they're valuable but they're nicely designed).

The main focus of my trip to Toronto was to visit and perform piano at the "Mon Sheong, old age home" also to MC at CICS's, "BAUHINIA GALA" to both commemorate HKSAR 10 anniversary. This gala was used to also raise funds for the IRC Capital Project. This project benefits immigrants who use IRC's services and programs. I was so excited to hear that this gala was by far their single-most profitable fundraiser, really proves that this world has alot of goodwill. A bottle of Moutai Wine worth $200 cdn went for $2000 cdn! A crazy bidding war between two people in the name of charity!

The Premier of Ontario, the Mayor and other Governor Officals were among the attendees...with feature performer Eliza Chan (she rocks!), china's Changing Faces Master Wai. CICS also especially flew in HK's renowned chef (He auctioned off a cooked lobster) to cook alongside Toronto's best Chef Susur Lee. (Funny, he was my judge for the model comp. I did a while back ago) .

It was so nice to see everyone again, including people I had worked with at Fairchild Television. They seemed very astonished that I had matured and changed quite a bit, kept praising TVB for their ruggerous training that they put me through! lol. You can catch the show on June 30th at 10:35 pm, on Fairchild T.V.

Besides work, I squeezed in some shopping time on Queen St., and fed my vintage fetish with their boutiques. Grabbed a drink with my close buds and had dinner with my family and chatted up with my little puppy. I really miss having a dog.

  • Cartier & LOVEday.

    Friday, Jun 8, 2007 10:27PM / Standard Entry

Hi all,     < reminds me of pak man!

I JUST got back from my MC job with Unicef's Loveday sponsored by "CARTIER". I'm still in my stage makeup and hair. Gee, that makes me sound like a workaholic...or just REALLY attached to my comp...=)

Anyway, tonight's show was loads of fun and very worthwhile. Almost every city/country today is hosting their own Loveday celebration where the main idea is to raise money for their chosen charity, so it's an international thing which is really admirable.  Singers showed up and each artist recieved a Cartier's "Love" line bracelet, I picked red..for      L O V E...=P  isn't that such a cheesy choice? I'll upload photos with my MC partner later but I think it's more respectful to ask if he's okay with it first.

I have loads of packing to do tonight, I'm flying out soon for a couple of days to work at a function that is commemorating the return of HK, more charity shows, press conferences, but the brilliant thing is that it's being held in Toronto so I can visit my university friends. The downfall is, is that I don't get much personal time, I'm working three seperate events that come along with the prep work. I can't wait though, I really miss good Canadian breakfast..for all you Canadian's/Amercian's out there...I'm sure you know what I mean!....

  • First Entry

    Thursday, Jun 7, 2007 2:02AM / Standard Entry

    Hello! =)

Obviously judging from my title, this is my very first entry. It's exactly 2:06 am on my comp and I'm sitting with a cup of hot brewing cup of coffee in my pink jammies typing. Gosh, I feel so bad to have taken so long to organize this space...sorry guys! Will you forgive me!?  It's been a crazy few weeks, well crazy year actually. I've been swamped with work, meetings and photo shoots. But it's alot of fun and I have so many photos to share in which I will have to do...gradually. They're all packed away in small little piles on my dining room table. Tee Hee, I feel so sentimental looking at my old MHK photo's, I look like a BABY in those photos!

So, today I slept in a bit since I stayed up until 7 am this morning working on a few things. Then I had a meeting to review a scrīpt on Unicef's "Loveday" charity program that I will be MC'ing for this Friday. It will be aired on the 10th at 10 pm. So, stay tuned!

woa, these are big lips! >
