Go China Go!  Go HK Go!

Every chance I get, I turn on the tube to keep track of the Olympics. China always seems to amaze me - over and over again. The opening was incredible, though I didn't watch all 4 hours of it my favourite part was the Tai Chi. How in the world did they maintain a perfect circle, through side kicks, turns, jumps,  is beyond me. I am so proud to witness this and it makes me feel even more proud to be Chinese (3 cheers!) .

I've been watching mainly through the High Definition T.V. at TVB's makeup room lately. And it has finally convinced me that I needed to upgrade my own...so my new Sony W,  has finally arrived today! So excited! It's sitting in a huge box waiting for installation. (Where's the installation guy!? - Hurry please! ) hee hee. Now I can clearly see individual sweat beads on all the athletes, my world seems clearer! And I'm never going back! Hee hee.

China is killing! 20 gold medals and the games aren't half over yet so more gold coming our way! I get all teary when I see the athletics win, to feel the amount of hard work over the years of training, the physical pain and the obstacles they had to overcome mentally is overwhelming!

On another note: Here's a photo from one of my days of shooting "Burning Flame 3" With Dexter, our "Fireman's Dog". Isn't he a sweetheart!?

    Muah!

    Wishing everyone Good health!

  • Time Travel. =)

    Good Evening Everyone....

I just finished a book, titled "Will you be there?"

It's a good read. It's about second chances and to make decisions without regret. It has a bit of time travel which is quite interesting seeing that the design of the book is so "floral" and "girlish". It's about a question I'm sure all of us have asked ourseives at one point or another, "if we had a chance to relive our lives, what would we change about past? what is the one thing that we regret not ever doing or should have done differently?"  It talks of how a simple decision you make can change the entire course of your life, how each decision you make is always an important one - no matter how small or large. It's a domino effect.

If you had a chance to travel back in time - what would you do differently?

me? I think I regret digesting the 3 ice milk ice bars from the night before...not quite settling well in my stomach! lol .

But really....I would wish that I had spent more quality time with my grandparents, they are wise and full of treasured stories that cannot be relived in our time and can no longer hear and learn from once our loved ones have past away.

    Cheers!

    HIya all!

*licking a milk bar- my second one of the night*

I'm thinking of grabbing a third from my freezer,  I've had bad cravings for junkies lately...not sure why!

I just adore this dress from "Noel Chu". This design is spectacular! Reminds me of a japanese kung-fu princess. The top is a corset inspired by a men's tux, (couldn't breath all night) but it gave me such a nice cinched waist, who's complaining!? The fuschia pink belt had a few attached textural elements such as beads, ropes and other fabrics. I just love love this dress! Noel is such a talented designer!

I wore this dress at a Wai Yin Annual ball....speaking of which, for those who are unaware of what Wai Yin does, it is something that I am quite proud of. It is a charity organization that is created and formed by past MHK title holders and MHK contestants. It just celebrated it's 25th year of service to charity work within Hong Kong. It is the only organization in the world that is created by past beauty pageant winners. Why I think so highly of this organization is that it truly showcases the "real" attitude of Miss Hong Kong. The "commitment to Goodwill"  and the continuing effort of contributing to charitable services. It really shows that MHK are not just a bunch of beautiful women, but a group of women with truly good hearts and the compassion to help those in need.

Okay, enough of that, sounds like I'm giving a speech. sorry but I'm just so proud of this organization!  Here are a few photo's to share...

    Heidi, Winnie, me, and Fiona.

The rest of the gals...there are more but the rest of them are scattered around making sure the ball was going smoothly!!!

    xoxoxo and xoxoo!

  • my un-glam life

    Hi Guys!

There's been alot of rain lately! Due to the rain, we had to end our filmilng earlier than expected today. My friend phoned me to eat a proper meal instead of all the microwave dinners and fast food take out I've been fueling my system. That's the real glamorous part of my life, walking to 7/11 in the middle of the night for quick meals and snacks. I realized that the "6 minute" button on my microwave has been the only button I've been pressing lately, Ha Ha.

I ate so much japanese food tonight that I hit my quota for the week and had to...in my cousins words, "roll out of the restaurant!" Yummy Sashimi, salmon maki, cooked beef with veggies, crispy tofu and clams cooked in wine sauce. mmmm......my mouth is starting to water again.

This is Snowy, my four legged friend! She always makes me smile! I love this photo so much that I just wanted to share if with you guys...she's such a princess...

    xoxo!

    Cheers!

Here's to good company and great friends!

    Dear Peeps,

    *sipping on blueberry juice*...

I'm regretfully peeved that I typed a long blog entry last night to find it "lost" this morning. So, instead of typing what I wrote last night, I'll just do a new entry today!

I just got back from work and will start to study my scrīpts for "Burning Flame 3'. Today was my first day filming on the set and I was just told that there would be some really interesting scenes coming up in the storyline. Alot of frightful scenes I might add but I'll have to keep it all a secret because I don't want to give away too much of the storyline! But I'm quite excited to continue to shoot one of my favourite tvb series. My partner, Bosco, is very nice (Thank god!)  Lol, He'll have to put up with me for the next little while. I met a camera man named, "Tomato" today and I though it was a really cute name!

Other than that, I shot a few scenes for Best Selling Secrets, this morning. Probably my last few scenes for the show since it is coming to an end. I will definitly miss my fellow actors in the series and hope to get a chance to shoot another sit com soon, because it is soooooo much fun and I've learnt so much. I am grateful for the chance to take part in this series and am enjoying my nickname: Alien.

Time to get cracking on my scrīpts! Here are a few photo's to share in the meantime, but I will remember to pack up my camera for more interesting pictures of my work and other snapshots!

Love you all & thank you for all your sweet messages: they always make me smile!

    Cheers!
    Alien Aimee ..............

Us goofy off, after work...I love this shot! Truly I do!

Don't I look so "tiny" next to these two guys!? Hee hee!
