Continuing her passion for dance and drama, Adele started acting and modeling commercially through University. She was also heavily involved in various dance and theatrical performances in NUS.
Upon graduation, Adele devoted her professional career to acting, hosting and writing. She also plays the lead role in 2 feature films ‘Garden Girls’ and ‘Idle Dreams’ by The Creative Room and Deadpan Entertainment respectively.
Her blank canvas quality has seen her play a range of ages and characters on TVCs, television, short films and corporate videos. One of Adele’s latest production is in the feature-length film, ‘The Days’ where she plays the female lead (released September 2008). In this movie, Adele also sang one of the lead songs composed by Jim Lim. Expect to see more of Adele in 2009 in the Chinese New Year Telemovie : A Kucinta Family Reunion, Ch 5’s drama series, ‘Untitled and ‘Happily Ever After’ on Channel OKTO.
Always looking for versatility and improvement, Adele hopes to deepen her theatrical experience after leading an adaptation of Chong Tze Chien's 'Spoilt'. She started hosting through FLY Entertainment in 2007 and has since hosted regularly under them. Coming up, Adele will be acting against MediaCorp’s heavyweights Christopher and Zheng Ge Ping, in “He Ain’t Pesky, He’s My Brother”, premiering July on Ch 8.
Off stage and off camera, Adele is in the process of expanding towards script writing and developing a social memory of performers in 1940s to 1980s Malaya, based on her grandparents experiences.
