  Aurora australis isn't just a name...aurora is a REAL natural phenomena that actually emerge  in the polar zone of our beloved earth..meaning on both northern and southern pole region..australis is a latin word for 'of the south'.. aurora australis means lights display of the south..

  I'm not really good in explaining things but i'll try :D aurora basically is a coloured display lights in the sky cause by collision of particles. The energy produced from the collition resulted on emission of coloured lights which are green, red, violet and blue depending on type of particles that collide e.g atomic oxygen or nitrogen ions..pretty technical ha.....ok i think i'll stop on the technical part : ) these aurorae can be seen in countries like Canada and Alaska on the northern part, Australia and New Zealand in the southern part..this pretty lights also emerged on other planets such as jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, venus and mars. amazing!! these natural phenomenon have never failed to amaze me....its kind of mysterious and yet sooo interesting....after all being part of the earth citizen, i think its good to know 'miracles' that is happening inside it  : )
