Producer: Eric Schlosser, Elise Pearlstein Director: Robert Kenner
Review: 'It is a 2008 American documentary film directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner. The film examines large-scale agricultural food production in the United States, concluding that the meat and vegetables produced by this type of economic enterprise leads to inexpensive but unhealthy and environmentally-harmful food. The film is narrated by Michael Pollan and Eric Schlosser, two long-time critics of the industrial production of food. The documentary generated extensive controversy in that it was heavily criticized by large American corporations engaged in industrial food production.' (quote from wiki)
I have a certain urge to share this documentary with everyone i know. i m no preacher, i just hope to raise ppl's awareness to the food we eat, what it contains, where it comes from, and more importantly, to prevent fatal food poison. We all get food poisoned once in awhile, sometimes minor allergies, other times serious bowel peristalsis or diarrhea. Our negligence have led these multi-billion food coorperations to expand over the years, to a certain point, ppl simply dont know why mad cow, bird flu, pig flu, e coli etc are fatal to us. So please, for your own sake, spare 90 minutes of your life and watch this documentary, find out more about the food on supermarket shelves. It is not just america we are talking about, it is all over the world.
