  • Raymond Lam Will Kiss Only Kate Tsui in “Fight Crime”

    Friday, Feb 3, 2012 6:32PM / Standard Entry

Raymond Lam (林峯), Kate Tsui (徐子珊), and Ella Koon (官恩娜) filmed in Sheung Wan for their new TVB drama, Fight Crime "雷霆掃毒", yesterday. Raymond attracted a large crowd of fans requesting autographs and photos. A bakery proprietress smiled widely upon recognizing Raymond at her store. She offered to treat Raymond to free bread, but he refused, “No, business is still business.” Their disagreement over money went back and forth. Finally, Raymond succeeded in paying for his bread.

After completing their outdoor scene for Fight Crime, Ella and Kate boarded the TVB van to change into another set of costumes. Despite being criticized for his “undeserved” wins of Jade Solid Gold’s “Asia-Pacific Most Popular Male Singer Award” and the JSG “Golden Melody Gold Award” in January, Raymond was surrounded by a large group of fans. Raymond complied with their requests for photos and autographs in a friendly manner. It appeared that his popularity was not impacted his recent negative rumors.

Ella Unafraid of Encountering Ex-Flame Again

Recording for the Jade Solid Gold program earlier, Ella was asked whether she was afraid that she will run into ex-flame, Ron Ng (吳卓羲), at TVB City. Ella immediately changed the topic,“Aside from work, I rarely pay attention to anything else.” (Will you greet Ron Ng?) “I will say hello to everyone I know upon seeing them.”

Despite sharing numerous scenes with Raymond Lam in Fight Crime, Ella was unafraid of generating romantic rumors. Ella revealed, “In the drama, Raymond will only kiss Kate Tsui and not me!” (Is your boyfriend afraid of you encountering Ron Ng again?) “My actions are upright and I have nothing to be afraid of! My boyfriend will not ask me about my work.”

  • Didn't know TVB was sold, Raymond Lam no fear of losing his backer

Didn't know TVB was sold, Raymond Lam no fear of losing his backer

    Monday, January 31, 2011

Last night, Raymond Lam held the first show of COME 2 ME CONCERT IN MACAU. He invited Kate Tsui and Ron Ng as his guet performers. Wearing a tube top revealing her waist, Kate and Raymond did a hot and sexy dance together. When Ron appeared to join them, audience all stood up in excitement.

At the concert, Raymond was very enthusiastic and close to the audience. He took the initiative to go off the stage to shake hands with fans. Because he was surrounded all over by a swam of fans, he had to call stop: "Don't pull me, grab my jacket."

Raymond also invited fan girls on stage for close interaction with his 'chok look'. He held the fan's hand, put his arm on their shoulder, hugged and lightly bumped into them, seriously making fans love him. Last night, TVB executive Virgina Lok and EEG executive Ng Yue came to support him.

Raymond expressed he did not know TVB got sold to new xhareholders, but he firmly believes that changes will be 'all good". Asked if Raymond felt that he lost a huge backer now that TVB's old boss Mona Fong is gone? He said: "Mrs. Fong watched me grow, she's a very good boss, my backer is TVB."

Is he worried that he can't defend his 'Asia Pacific' title next year? Raymond said: "I haven't brought out this year's award to place on my award shelf yet. I'm planning to have good results on my upcoming Mandarin album first, before I take the award out." He also expressed that he is not familiar with Mona Fong: "In my personal life, I never met Mrs. Fong before." He also has not seen new boss Chan Kwok Keung yet, and joked that he's "probably the last person to know in TVB that there's a new boss."

Kate said that she does not know the new boss, as to the magazine reports saying that she's going to get TV Queen award next year? She said: "Just joking, that good? Then I don't have to work so hard, rushing to complete filming to come over to Macau. The next morning, I have to start working again at 6am."
