ok figuring out the time was the hardest thing...
since it's gonna be 28th in Asia so it will be 27th for us

here are AMerican time:

Central - 4 pm - 3 am
Eastern - 5 pm - 4 am
Mountain - 3 pm - 2 am

I just found out that my blog originally didn't play all 3 videos. So what I did was I seperated and included all 3 videos. There's more footage that you probably didn't catch the first time. Think of the main host as wearing Minnie Mouse hair, and they're not as creepy as they may seem. They're down to earth dudes under that drag. :P

Thank you for checking out Shaka Talk episode 5 Shanana, and I really do appreciate that you did. It was a fun shoot (my 1st full length TV interview) and I am grateful for your open mind to scope it out. I hope that the interviewers weren't too distracting for the interview to be enjoyed, because I do share a story that has never been told in Hawaii. The Shaka Talk show itself isn't about drag queens, but it is about the quests of various trades that it features. Off camera the host and co-host are regular everyday dudes, and are quite down to earth. Their sexuality may be different than mine, but they're dudes nonetheless.

I felt that for my story to be told doing such a show will require a following and support that is open minded. The host is an old friend I met (out of drag) from the local poetry slam scene. Thank you again for your open mind.

Not a lot to say at the mo'.... Lived in 5 of the 7 continents before I was even 9, due to Dad's job, but moved here to Virginia to live at 16. Tough being a military/government brat and moving to a place where the dads of my classmates either are all in different jobs or nonexistent. Talk about culture shock!

Been here now for 25 years, having taken both the road less traveled (world-hopping background, brief stint in a military academy, working as a volunteer "peasant" in a Ren Faire) to the more mundane hard-packed highway.... (factory jobs, marriage, kids, divorce.) Have had the requisite tears and laughter along the way and looking forward, with the saving Grace of God, to experiencing more as life goes on.
