Arrrgh!!

I'm getting a little frustrated with this site.  Maybe it's the site, but more likely it's my peabrain not allowing me to figure out how to get my pictures on it from my computer.  I know I did it before, but somehow it's eluding me.  (I know that's a word.. but I'm so foggy and froggy right now I can't figure out if I spelled it right..... and the spellcheck is futzing out, too.  Can't win... just can't win..)

Anyhow, my week has been with its highs and lows as per usual.  As many of you know, my 38 year old brother wound up in the hospital last week just three days after his birthday with acute appendicitis and had to have it removed.  Doctor said that it was the worst case he had ever seen due to my brother's apparent high tolerance of pain. (Runs in the family, although for some reason it missed me... grrr) He has had to stay in the hospital all week thanks to the massive infection this caused, with antibiotics being pumped through him.  Seems he's going to still be there through the coming Independence Day holiday, which of course he's cheesed about. We are praying he doesn't have another relapse, so he can get out.  It's BORING for him there, and he's not much of a reader, nor does he have a laptop.

My other brother, 35 last week, on the day that older bro ended up in the hospital, has just informed us that he's gonna be a daddy!  His girlfriend is preggers, and they are talking marriage, but that's a given since they had already started planning on it.  Seems they will just either have to move it up, or wait till after the baby gets here.  Either way, he couldn't have made a better choice in a girlfriend.  They live in Florida, but he introduced us to her ( and vice versa) a few months ago when they came to visit.  So God willing, they want a girl...  She already has some boys (2 or 3, don't remember offhand) and with my two, it's time for a girl.  Grandma says "Girls are so much more fun to buy for..." (Ugh)

Personally I'm still toughing it out through the heat, dust, and pain on the factory floor where I was shuffled to after the company did some downsizing.  Ten years ago, or even five years ago, I'd have been on a downward spiral towards depression due to all the "crap" I would be feeling was being fed to me, but thanks to some serious soul searching and praying, I've decided that I'm being tested and doggone it... I'm NOT GOING TO FAIL. I'm biding my time, letting the Lord do His will, and jump at every opportunity that I see to change it, if I can.  Until I know where I'm being led, I will do what I can to keep my temper in check and continue to bide my time.

OK... That's just boring old news from the land of Shanana, so thanks for all prayers that anyone might be saying for me.  I'm doing the same for everyone I know here, (and for those I know about but don't really know me). 

Someday, I'll get some more pics up, I swear!  Blogs are boring without them, I know.  Otherwise they're just letters or essays... Bleahh...
