Coù nhöõng boâng hoa thaät ñeïp nhöng chuùng toâi khoâng bieát teân.

Nhưng rồi ngày tháng qua đi, Thượng đế không thấy người đàn ông vui vẻ chút nào, mặc dù đã có tất cả những gì mà thượng đế tạo ra. Ngài bèn hỏi nguyên do, người đàn ông mới nói là do buồn tẻ, không ai chuyện trò. Thượng đế suy nghĩ hồi lâu, liền nói, ta sẽ tạo ra một người như ngươi để ngươi tâm sự cho đỡ buồn. Nhưng thượng đế không biết lấy vật liệu gì để làm, người đàn ông liền nói: "ngài hãy lấy xương, thịt của tôi để làm nên hình hài mới, để chúng tôi tuy hai mà một, người ấy sẽ cùng tôi sống suốt một đời. Thượng đế thấy việc ấy tốt, Ngài hài lòng, và người phụ nữ ra đời từ đó. Tương truyền người phụ nữ tạo ra từ một xương sườn của đàn ông. !!!
Và từ đó, người phụ nữ luôn có mặt bên người đàn ông, không chỉ an ủi về vật chất mà còn cả tinh thần. người phụ nữ tuy yếu ớt nhưng lại rất lớn lao trong gia đình, người phụ nữ vừa là vợ, là mẹ mà cũng là bạn. Nếu không có người phụ nữ trong nhà, gia đình sẽ trở nên buồn tẻ và cuộc sống chẳng còn ý nghĩa khi không có nữa kia của mình.

With her utmost persistence and meticulosity, her skillful hand wielding a tiny spoon pours the multi-colored natural sand into a glass or a crystal jar, creating lively romantic paintings imbured with human values.
The sand paintings are created with 100% natural-colored sand wihtout any agglutinant but the particles of sand are never discolored, being forever fixed where they are put.
Y Lan sand paintings have been highly valued and glorified to be:
- The high – quality art work
- The Golden cup art product
- The Top Ten trade mark
- The Vietnamese brand name with customer’s highest valuation and so on.
She herself has been conferred the title:
- The successful businesswoman.
Besides, she did also receive numerous Certificates of Merit from HCMC’s Red Cross Association, HCM’s Sport and Information Service, HCM’s Enterprise Association, HCMC Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of People’s Committee of HCMC, Ministry of Culture and Information, APEC Conference Board of Organizes and Misnistry of Foreign Affairs....
Due to the uniqueness of Y Lan sand paintings, People’s Committee of HCMC did select them to be the APEC logo gifted to the Ministers of the nations participating in the APEC Conference held on June 2006 at Sheraton hotel in HCMC. Moreover, the Government of Vietnam aslo ordered Y Lan to make 21 sand portraits of APEC leaders attending the Summit conference by the end of 2006 in Ha Noi,
Y Lan sand paintings have implicitly become a symbol of cultural and artistic gifts, a rare and precious handicraft. She has created various kinds of sand paintings such as: Landscapes, Calligraphy works, Logos, Particular architectures , Art forms, Religious themes. Especially, sand portrait are the most comphicated and difficult art works to make because they require the exact alikeness between the portrait and the person pcrtrayed, the liveliness of the portrait. More and more local and foreign customers have placed orders for Y Lan sand paintings, esp.the portrait ones.

Preparation:
+ A sieve to remove impurities from sand.
+ Tea-spoons
+ A clear crystal glass or vase without patterns
+ Sand-colours (can be found in Phan Thiet town, Binh Thuan province)
Directions:
+ Choosing your favorite pictures that you want to create sand paintings.
+ Hold the glass with the slope about 30 degree, use the spoon to pour the sand into the glass, layer by layer. Pour the sand colors as the color of the picture that you want to make it sand painted. Remember to put the spoon touch the glass surface while pouring the sand into the glass.
+ Since the sand is formed, use the spoon to press into the middle of the glass gently to make the sand layers hang on together.
+ Then, pour the sand that the filter trashed into the middle of the glass to help keep the layers at the glass surface sticky.
+ Continue to pour the sand until the glass is full.
