I have a show coming up at Fly or Die in Westwood (3rd time). It is going to be HUGE as shoe artist Sole Junkie will be releasing his book at the show.

As a thank you to Fly or Die I am working on a piece for them to have for their gallery. I hope they like it, it is done.....

I will have a flyer up soon. And for Ms. Raine, I will work on your painting after this so keep your eye out for it! no wait? not out....OPEN!

I did this piece for a customer. She wanted a skater, not really my thing since I paint beautiful women. she loves it.

A tribute to a great artist

Being a new artist has limited my funds a bit. I am in awe of an artist named Audrey Kawasaki. She is a great illustrator/painter who is in the LA area. Her work goes for a lot of money and is highly sought after. Unfortunately for me, I cannot afford any of it. So, I decided to take one of her paintings and do it in my own style. I am happy with how is is going (half way done).

Hopefully one day I can meet Audrey and shake her hand and maybe get a photo.

This will NOT be for sale and is for my personal collection. I hope this turns more fans to this great artist.

This painting is 18" x 24" done in spraypaint and acrylic

I grew up in what is considered not ideal for children. My mother was very young when she had me and not up to the responsibility of raising a child. This led to me having to grow up a lot faster then I would have liked to.

Fortunately, I do not use my childhood experiences as a crutch, rather use it as a tool.

I have seen things growing up that seem unreal to a child. The feeling of pain in my stomach, not due to hunger, but worry was common. Wanting things to change, but unable to do anything about it.

I have always felt that I am on my own. Maybe I prefer it like that.

I am attracted to those who are beautiful, not physically, but as a person in general. Those are the people I try to paint. Those are the people I try to stay around.

Let me show you what I see through my eyes with my brush.......
