Here we go again. I have ran into more time to paint so I will be taking advantage of that. here is a piece I did that really shows how influenced I am by my 2 favorite artists Audrey Kawasaki and Yoskay Yamamoto. I hope you like it. It is availalbe in my store.

Yoskay Yamamoto

I needed somewhere to write about such a great artist. I figured why not AnD?

Yoskay Yamamoto is a Japanese artist that lives here in Los Angeles, Ca.. His style has manga influence on japanese textile backgrounds. I have been watching this artist grow for a while now and is now easily my favorite artist. No matter how busy he is, he always seems to make time for his fans. I hope to have his patience as an artist one day.

Yoskay has gained popularity through his highly sought after Koibito toy shown below.

This toy will be released this Wednesday here in LA. I will hopefully be first in line arriving at 4AM. I hope to see you all there.

I grew up in what is considered not ideal for children. My mother was very young when she had me and not up to the responsibility of raising a child. This led to me having to grow up a lot faster then I would have liked to.

Fortunately, I do not use my childhood experiences as a crutch, rather use it as a tool.

I have seen things growing up that seem unreal to a child. The feeling of pain in my stomach, not due to hunger, but worry was common. Wanting things to change, but unable to do anything about it.

I have always felt that I am on my own. Maybe I prefer it like that.

I am attracted to those who are beautiful, not physically, but as a person in general. Those are the people I try to paint. Those are the people I try to stay around.

Let me show you what I see through my eyes with my brush.......
