awesome day thus far...

Just got in from work where everything went surprisingly smooth. I was told the district manager was coming into the store today so me and my co-worker spent the morning making sure everything looked great. The DM has been a ball of negativity lately leaving us all about ready to tell him off and walk at the drop of a hat. But he came in and was in a good mood, said things looked good and he gave me my lapel pin for two years of service...actually more like 2.5 but who's keeping track? Business was slow so it was pretty kick-back everyone took lunches on time and therefore I was able to leave on time for once. That's cause for celebration in itself. Right after I left I got a call that I got a letter at work from corporate. Apparently some customer sent in a letter saying I provided good customer service so they sent me a gift card for Burger King. I don't ever eat at Burger King so it'll just end up in the drawer next to the last one I got but oh well.

Upon arriving home I spotted a package leaning against my door and to my delight it was from Hong Kong. My Reni Wong zodiac critters have arrived! Now I just have to find a spot to display them. I've been steady losing vinyl figures behind my bookcase which is fully loaded and unmovable so I'm not about to place them there. Heh. Pics to follow when I unbox them.

Now I can chill at home and work on my website and fight off the urge to take a nap. My eyelids are super heavy though. *sigh* I dunno...first thing on the agenda is food so I'm off to the kitchen!

Born and raised pretty much my entire life in New Orleans. I skipped over to Texas during Hurricane Katrina and never left. I sling auto parts by day and at night I don my spandex costume and sit in front of the computer developing my website or getting sucked into Japanese dramas.

How did I find AnD?

I would occasionally pop onto Daniel Wu's site to see what was up only the last time I tried AnD loaded into my browser. It's been all downhill since...lol
