  • Giant Robot on the way!

    Well, I finally did it. I sat down and pulled out my Giant Robot magazines and figured out which issues I'd managed to miss out on and I went to the online GR Store and was very happy to find that I was able to buy just about every single one of them.

    I got turned onto GR at issue #4 by a friend of mine that knew I'd dig it. He also ended up passing along #5 & #6 after he read them. From there on out I tried my best to buy them when they hit the stands. Somehow over the past 11 years I only missed out on 12 issues! I think that's pretty amazing considering I never subscribed (something I feel guilty for).

    Unfortunately a friend of mine borrowed my copies of 4-9 and I never saw them again. She said her little brother lost them. I tried to impress upon her the importance I placed in them when I loaned them to her but I guess some people just don't get it. Anyway, that was over ten years ago and who knows if I'll ever find copies of those again much less the first 3 issues which I've never laid eyes upon. But I'm stoked that now I'll finally have all issues from 10 till current. Now only if I could persuade myself to get a subscription. Heh.
